Product Information: WATCH, WRIST: PILOT’S CHRONOGRAPH
The PILOT’S CHRONOGRAPH is a high-quality precision instrument that comes with a black natural rubber strap and an optional stainless steel adjustable bracelet (P/N WW005007, not included). The watch has a chronograph timing function with sub-dials that register 30 minute intervals and 12 hours with indicators at every 30 minutes. The watch also has technical specifications that allow for decimal timing up to 60 minutes.
Product Usage Instructions
Setting the Time
- Unscrew the crown from position 1 to position 2.
- Pull the crown out of position 4.
- Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the time.
- Note: When the crown is in position 4, the second hand stops so that the time can be synchronized with an accurate time source.
- If your Chronograph watch has stopped, you may wind the crown clockwise while in position 2. Turn the crown six to ten full turns restart the movement.
- Set the time by pulling out the crown to position 4.
- Once the watch is set onto one’s wrist, it will automatically self-wind by the normal motion of the wrist.
Setting the Day and Date
- Unscrew the crown from position 1 to position 2.
- Pull the crown out of position 3.
- Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to change the date or counterclockwise to change the day*.
- Pull the crown out to position 4 to adjust the time so that the date changes at midnight and not at mid-day (12 noon).
- If your Chronograph watch has stopped, you may wind the crown clockwise while in position 2. Turn the crown six to ten full turns to restart the movement.
- Set the time by pulling out the crown to position 4.
- Once the watch is set onto one’s wrist, it will automatically self-wind by the normal motion of the wrist.
CAUTION: Do not attempt to set the day and date if the hands are positioned between 21:00 hours and 01:00 hours. Adjusting the day and date in this position will cause damage to the day and date mechanism and void the warranty.
Chronograph Timing Functions
NOTE: The crown stays in position 1 when using the Chronograph timing
function.
- Completely unscrew pusher lock rings A and B.
- Press pusher A to start the chronograph count-up timing.
- Press pusher A to stop/interrupt the chronograph count-up timing.
- Press pusher B to return the chronograph hands to zero. (This only works when chronograph hands are in the stopped position.)
- Completely screw in the pusher lock rings when finished timing. (Example: for start, stop, start: press pusher A, A, A)
CAUTION: Do not use push buttons underwater. Ensure that pusher lock rings are completely screwed in when not in use. This is essential to prevent moisture damage to the movement.
The CHRONOGRAPH is a high quality precision instrument. In order to utilize its features, it is advised to read the following notes before use.

The Chronograph is a particularly heavy instrument. Be careful not to drop it when mounting it on the wrist.

Do not adjust DAY & DATE between 21:00 and 01:00.
Adjusting the day and date in this position will cause damage to the day and date mechanism and void the warranty -
The crown and pusher lock rings must be completely screwed in before submerging the Chronograph in water.

Use only certified service centres for servicing the Chronograph otherwise the warranty is void.

The top inset dial registers 30 minute intervals. The bottom inset dial
registers 12 hours with indicators at every 30 minutes.

WARNING:
- This Chronograph is very heavy and care should be taken when mounting onto wrist. Do not let the Chronograph drop on hard surface.
- Ensure that the winding-crown and the two pusher lock rings are completely screwed-in before entering water.
CLEANING
Before cleaning your watch or exposing it to water, always make sure that the crown is screwed in completely. It is important to always rinse your watch with fresh water after it has been in salt water. To clean the watch, use a mild soap and fresh water.
