Please note that during storage and transport, especially at high ambient
temperatures, some of the oil and grease used for assembly may leak and stain
the packaging. This will not cause damage to the product, wipe off the excess
oil or grease with a cloth.

missing, please contact an Öhlins dealer.

If you work with a lifted vehicle, make sure that it is safely supported to
prevent it from tipping over.

specific procedures and important data.
Note!
Before you install this product clean the vehicle.
- Put the motorcycle on a work stand so that the rear wheel barely touches the ground.
- Remove the front shock absorber attachment screw.
- Remove the rear shock absorber attachment screw. Remove the original shock absorber.
- Install the shock absorber with the valve down, and the hose on the left side led towards the back of the vehicle (see figure). Install the rear shock absorber attachment first.
- Install the front shock absorber attachment screw.
- Remove the left passenger foot peg. Mount the supplied bracket between the foot peg and the frame (see figure).
- Install the pre-load adjuster according to the figure. Use the supplied M6x30 screws (05404‑07), washers (00153‑04), and nuts (00430‑02). Apply thread lock on the thread.
- Fasten the hose with cable ties if necessary.
Make sure that the hose runs without sharp bends and that the hose is not squeezed when the rear suspension is compressed or extended.
ADJUSTMENTS

Before you ride/drive, always make sure that the setup is according to the
recommended setup data. Read about adjustments and set up in the Öhlins
Owner’s Manual before you make any adjustments. Contact an Öhlins dealer if
you have any questions about setting up.
