Note: All accessories of this instrument except the mouthpiece cannot be disassembled. All consequences caused by self-disassembly or modification shall be borne by the customer himself.

Detailed functions
Mouthpieces
There is a vibrato sensor inside the mouthpiece, when you gently biting the
mouthpiece , there will be a uniform vibrato effect. Do not bite it too hard.
LCD screen
This screen will show the contents of various parameters such as tone,
tonality, power, blowing sensitivity, volume adjustment, MIDI channel, vibrate
, fingering adjustment etc.
You can easily use this EWI through the screen.

Volume button
Volume range from 1 to 16, the higher the number, the louder the sound. -
Blow
The blowing strength range is 1-32, the larger the number, the smaller the air consumption, and it will automatically make a sound if the number over 28. -
Vibrate adjustment
The range is 0-127, the larger the number, the more obvious the vibrato effect. -
Glide Plate
The range is 0-127, the larger the number, the more obvious the glide adjustment. -
Pitch bend adjustment
The range is 0-127, the larger the number, the more obvious the pitch bend effect. -
Fingering type adjustment
You can choose flute or saxophone fingering type according to your needs. -
Tone adjustment
There are 88 kinds of tones you can choose -
Pitch knob
Built-in 12 pitches -
ON/OFF
Press and hold for 3s to turn on and off. -
Glide bar
It will automatically make glide when you press this glide bar. When using the articulation technique, the glide is automatically interrupted (The glide refers to the smooth transition between two different pitches).
11-15. Octave Adjust the high, middle, bass by moving your thumb up and down.
A-C quickly change the tone or mode control area: A-C 3 commonly used tones
have been set before leaving the factory, and you can quickly change them with
one click.
If you want to change to other tones, you can also store them in the keys. The
specific operation is as follows: If you want to use the violin tone, you can
use the tone knob to call out the violin tone. Press and hold any button from
1 to 3 for 3 seconds, the screen will show Saved, at this time you can let go,
the current tone and the mode used have been saved to the corresponding
button. When you short press again, it will directly call up the saved tone.
D-F 3 function button D is for MIDI set up, E is vibrato switch, and F is
Bluetooth switch.
16. Neck Strap clip Fix the neck strap into the buckle, adjust the length of
the neck strap, move the weight of the EWI on the neck as much as possible,
and relax your hands as much as possible, so as to better play and protect the
instrument.
17. Pitch bend controller Pressing down the sensor, it will produce lower
bend effect, and it will return to the normal pitch when letting go.
18. 3.5 Headphone output jack You can put your headphone into this jack,
which can avoid bothering your family even though you practice it in the mid-
night. This jack also can connect to the speakers or turning equipment. The
speaker will automatically close when this jack be used.
19. Speaker The speaker will make the sound to play without using external
speakers and headphone.
20. Battery cover Opening this cover you can find built-in battery.
Instrument charging
The charging jack is at the bottom of the tail and has a rechargeable battery. Putting the charging wire into the jack, there will be a red light when charging, and it will turn to green when fully charged.
Battery/charge
When charging, there is a power display in the upper right corner of the screen. Please charge it ASAP when the battery shows the last bar. Do not use it during charging. It will automatically shut down when the power is too low.
Correct playing posture
Better to use the neck strap for beginners and put the weight on the neck
strap. With your hands relaxed, place the EWI directly in front of you(like
the same way you hold a saxophone or clarinet), with your left hand above and
your right below. Play at a 45 a ngle to your body.
Left-handed players can choose to customize special instruments. The right
hand is on the top and the left hand is on the bottom.
Connect the signal output mode

6.5 Audio output jack
Sound can be connected to the speakers or the turning equipment when the audio wire put into this jack. -
3.5 Headphone output jack
This jack can put into the headphone, which can avoid bothering your family even though you practice it at the mid-night. This jack also can connect to the speakers or turning equipment. When 6.5 jack or 3.5 jack is plugged into an audio plug or a headphone, the built-in speakers will be automatically turned off without sound. When unplugged, the built-in speakers of this instrument will make sound. -
Bluetooth connection
Can realize electronic wind instrument and accompaniment to input the speakers or headphone and audio at the same time. -
MIDI output jack
You can connect it to other MIDI equipment through this jack.
(Note: Computer software sound source or hard sound source, use the EWI to control the sound source, different models may have incompatibility problems, this situation should be subjected to actual testing.)
Playing and skills

Note Induction Keys
The note keys are divided into three parts, 6 sensor keys, 6 long bar sensor keys, and 6 octave keys on the back. -
Pitch bend playing skills
Pitch bending controller: Slide the finger down and slowly return to the original position, and the lower bend effect can appear, and the lower bend tone of two semitone ranges can be played. -
Glide playing skills
The EWI’s glide plate let you use a glide effect to move between notes for greater expressiveness in your performance. Press and hold the metal bar on the right side of octave key with your thumb, and there will be a glide effect between the notes played. -
Bite vibrato playing skills
Vibrato can be produced by gently biting the mouthpiece while blowing. The vibrato fluctuation and vibrato speed can be controlled by the multi-function knob, to know more details please see the functions page.

No matter which fingering type is used, it is the same when using the lifting
key. Touching the semitone key will increase decrease accordingly.
For example: when playing #5, press and hold the fingering of 5 normally, and
then press and keep increasing semitone (any one of 1, 3, 4), you can play the
note of #5. Playing the lowered semitones are use the same way.
Common malfunction and the solutions

Cannot switch on or off
Please connect to the charger for charging, press and hold switch for 2s, and then check the power through the screen. -
Automatically producing sound no using
Turn the knob 2, the number should < 26, it will automatically ring if the number is lower than 26, please hold the tail with both hands, and shake it 6 times quickly, so that the saliva can be thrown out from the mouthpieces. Please pay attention to the safety of the surrounding environment! -
Abnormal vibrato
Please adjust knob 3 to make the vibrato speed and vibrato adjustment to 100. -
The pitch of the EWI is inaccurate, and the tonality does not match. There are several solutions as follows:
a) Please turn the button 6, change the finger type of saxophone or flute to check whether your fingering type is right.
b) Please note: when you are playing, don’t touch other buttons.
c) Please don’t touch the pitch bend controller. -
The solution for no sound or low sound:
a) Adjust the breath sensitivity number to around 26;
b) Adjust the volume knob to 16;
c) Check whether the 6.5 jack and the 3.5 jack have plugs, and unplug it if have.
Product maintenance and precautions
Maintenance methods
-
Scrub the mouthpieces with alcohol after playing.
-
After playing, please remember to wipe off the sweat with a cotton soft towel to prevent corrosion.

After playing, try to put the instrument back the backpack and place a moisture-proof bag inside.
Please take more protection during the wet day and winter. -
If you don not use this instrument for a long time, you should also charge it frequently. Prevent battery loss from rendering the battery unusable.
Attention:
- Be sure to keep your mouth clean before playing, and do not use it while smoking.
- Keep your finger clean and don’t play it in water or sweat status.
- Pay attention to protection and do not make it fall. Using the neck trap to prevent slipping during playing, and put it in a backpack or bracket after playing to prevent it from falling.
- Do not put it upside down to prevent saliva from flowing back. Saliva back flow can easily lead to a short circuit in the instrument.
- Use a paper towel or dry towel to wipe after playing, do not wash it with water.
- Replace the mouthpieces first twist the fixing screw, do not shake it while pull-out to prevent the bite splint from breaking.
- Charging do not wait until there is no power and then charge, Frequent undercharging will reduce battery life.
- Do not touch any buttons when switch on, built-in self-test function.
