Product Information

The SYA536BN and SYA536MBK are lighting fixtures designed for installation on ceilings. The package includes a ceiling canopy, rods, mounting hardware, socket assembly, shade panels, tube with tab, tube, crossbar assembly, wire connector, and outlet box screw. The fixture is designed for use with medium base bulbs with a maximum wattage of 100W. The fixture is suitable for use on angled ceilings with swivels that can be adjusted to the desired angle. The product comes with a user manual that includes an installation guide, safety information, care and maintenance instructions, and customer service contact information.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Start by installing the shade panels as per the instructions in the manual.
2. Next, install the socket assembly.
3. Install the rods as per the instructions based on the height of your ceiling. For an 8-feet ceiling, use two 12L rods on each side. For a 9-feet ceiling, use two 6L rods and two 12L rods on each side.
4. Separate the swivels from the ceiling canopy.
5. Install the swivels and ceiling canopy to the upper rods.
6. Install the crossbar assembly.
7. Install the lanyards by following the instructions in the manual.
8. Connect the wiring as follows:
   • Connect the white wire from the supply to the ribbed side of the wire from the fixture identified with the label N.
   • Connect the black (or red) wire from the supply to the smooth side of the wire from the fixture identified with the label L.
   • Connect the ground wire from the supply to the ground wire from the fixture identified with the label G.
   • Connect the green ground wire.
9. Install the bulbs by referring to fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage. Use 100W MAX type A medium (E26) base bulbs.
10. Restore electricity and test the fixture.

• Wipe clean using soft, dry cloth or static duster. Always avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasives to clean fixture as they may damage the finish.
