Product Information
This double technology reader offers a double access security, including a keypad and a compact 13.56 MHz reader. It can be installed either outside or inside. It comes with a RS485 bus and a backlight keypad. Its LEDs, tamper and buzzer are managed directly by the WS4. It can read Mifare Classic, Desire and Ultralight.

Product Usage Instructions
To use the MTPADP-RS-MF reader, follow the below instructions:
- Install the reader either outside or inside using the surface mount and ABS housing.
- Connect the RS485 output to the host controller.
- Provide a voltage of 9-14 V DC to the reader.
- Present a Mifare Classic, Desfire or Ultralight card within a range of up to 5 cm or input the correct code using the backlit metallic keypad.
- The LEDs will indicate access granted or access denied based on the card or code presented.
- If the reader is tampered with, the tamper protection will be activated and the buzzer will sound.
Note that the orange backlight of the keypad can be easily disabled if necessary using My WS4. Also, the keypad changes its backlight color when the code or card is presented.
