Product Information
The MFPST43 is a fireplace unit that requires clearance to combustibles around the chimney. Product Usage Instructions
When installing the MFPST43 fireplace unit, ensure that there is a clearance of at least 2 inches to combustibles around the chimney. Use metal studs in accordance with applicable building codes. Note that the fireplace is non- combustible only within 18 inches of the top of the opening. Install refractory lining as shown in the diagram for added clarity. For the airspace clearance to combustibles on the rear and sides of the unit, use metal studs and fasten them to the lintel with masonry fasteners. Refer to section A-A of the diagram for detailed dimensions and other information. When using the MFPST43 fireplace unit, ensure that it is properly maintained and cleaned regularly to prevent any fire hazards.
