ipega PG-9167 Dual Thorn BT Game Controller

Product application instruction:

1. This product support direct-play mode for Android/ iOS, especially designed for 《PUBG Mobile》、《Arena of Valor》、《Knives Out》ect., Plug & Play, other game app and activation are both non-necessary, makes the setting process easier (support Android 6.0 or above, iOS 11.0 or above);
2. This product is compatible with Android/ iOS smartphone/ tablet, smart TV which are enabled to play games after wireless connection.
3. The extendable size maximum to 135-250mm, able to hold 11 inch ipad pro;
4. The right joypad is detachable, and the left is non-detachable, it can be treated as a single hand gamepad (Support Hot Swap);
5. Accessories includes a wired audio converter module,makes wired audio connection possible;
6. This product support TURBO function,brings better game experience for the player.
7. Ergonomic design, comfortable feeling;
   • Due to mobile system issues, some mobile may not support this device(e.g.:mobile under MTK platform do not support)
   • Android direct-play mode doesn’t support for single joypad, please try the HID mode/ iOS.
   • Due to the official game platform software upgrades or source code changesand other not resist factors caused some of the game can not be played or connected with our Gamepad, iPega company has no responsibility. iPega reserve the right of final interpretation for this.

Button Illustration

Installation and detachable method of right joypad

1. Press the right joypad as shown by the arrow in Figure 1 below, and push it upward until the joypad is stuck;
2. The installation is completed, as shown in Figure 2 below;

3. When the right joypad needs to be removed, press and hold the button on the back of the product and pull down the right joypad at the same time to remove the right joypad;

How to charge the mobile phone while using the gamepad

1. Pass the charging cable through the right joypad first, then connect the mobile phone, and then align the gamepad in the gamepad slot;,
2. The installation is completed, as shown in Figure 2 below;

4. Play time: >15H;

6. Charging: around 2hrs;

9. Standby time: 30 days after fully charged;

Usage instruction:

Android V3 direct-play mode: (This mode doesn’t support to  operate game under single-hand gamepad)
Press and hold down the D-pad button”RIGHT” + HOME button for around 2 seconds to enter V3 direct-play mode(Android), blue LED start flash quickly,search bluetooth name”PG-9167″ on Android mobile/ tablet and connect it! After the connection is successful, the blue LED is always on! Once connected, you can press HOME button directly, blue LED slowly flash, and the blue LED is always on, means automaticly reconnected!

iOS V3 direct-play mode:
Press and hold down the D-PAD button”LEFT” + HOME button for around 2 seconds to enter V3 direct-play mode(iOS), blue LED start flash quickly,search bluetooth name”PG-9167″ on Apple mobile /tablet and connect it! After the connection is successful, the blue LED is always on! Once connected, you can press HOME button directly, blue LED slowly flash, and then blue LED is always on, means automaticly reconnected!

Android/IOS direct-play button mapping:

Search “www.ipega.hk” website, and select the default operation instructions. To set up the button mapping, please download and install “Shooting Plus V3” APP; reset the buttons from the APP ! This product button is default as PUBGmobile!

Download APP:
Search “ShootingPlus” in the Apple App Store/Google Play Store, download and install the “ShootingPlus V3″ app;”

Android standard game mode:

Press and hold down the D-pad button “UP” + HOME button for 2 seconds to enter the Android standard game pairing mode, the blue LED light flashes quickly, search name “PG-9167” on the Android mobile phone / Android Tablet / Android smart TV and connect it! After the connection is successful, the blue LED is always on! Once connected. You can directly press the HOME button, the blue LED light flashes slowly, automatically back!

TURBO function

• Action buttons include(A/B/X/Y/L1/L2/R1/R2) eight buttons, all support to set up TURBO function by manual;
• Setting method: Hold down the action button, then press TURBO button to restart the function, repeat the operation to close down the function;
• After the product sleep, shut down and restart, the previous setting for turbo function is automatically cleared. If the turbo function is enabled, it must be reset!

Charging/Sleep/Wake-up/Shutdown

1. Charging:
   • Low power, orange LED flashes;
   • Charging: orange LED is always on;
   • Fully charged: orange LED is off;
2. Charging/Sleep/Wake-up/Shutdown
   • Gamepad will shutdown to enter sleep mode if don’t have any operation in 10min;
   • Once connected, just press HOME button to wakeup and reconnect it to use;
   • Under turning on, hold down HOME button for 3 seconds, product shut down, all LED turn off;

Notes:

1. Please do not store this product in wet or high-temperature areas.
2. Don’t knap, beat, drub, pierce, or try to decompose this product, to avoid unnecessary damageto the product.
3. The product has built-in batteries, and please don’t discard them together with the garbages.
4.  Don’t charge the controller in a place near the fire or other heat source.
5. Non professional personnel should not disassemble the product, otherwise it will not be covered in the after-sales warranty service.
