Product Information

The DINMTPX-BT-EH-SA is a user-friendly access control system that supports card and Bluetooth (Mobile phone APP) entry modes. It can support EM 4002/4100 and HID (125kHz) credentials. The system has a reading range of up to 5 cm and can accommodate up to 100 users. It has a built-in relay and RS-485 for remote relay unit RU1, RU2, DINRTT, RTT. The system has a buzzer that can be turned ON/OFF via XPR Smart Admin and has a backlight control for on-board  relay only. Additionally, it has a push button input for connectingI/O boards like RU1, RTT, RU2, and DINRTT. The system has tamper protection and an RS-485 interface for connecting I/O boards like RU1, RTT, RU2, and DINRTT. It has an environmental rating of IP40 and a door open time of 0 to 255 sec. or toggle (ON/OFF mode). The system has a firmware upgrade feature and supports Wiegand 24, 26, 32, 34, 56, 58 bits. It can be programmed via XPR Smart Admin and can accommodate up to 24 holidays. The event capacity of the system is 4,000.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Power the DINMTPX-BT-EH-SA access control system using a 12 – 24 V AC/DC max. 100mA power supply.
2. Connect the RS-485 interface to connect I/O boards like RU1, RTT, RU2, and DINRTT.
3. Program the system using XPR Smart Admin. The system can accommodate up to 100 users and 24 holidays.
4. Select the entry mode as per the requirement. The system supports card and Bluetooth (Mobile phone APP) entry modes.
5. Present the card or initiate Bluetooth entry as per the selected entry mode. The reading range of the system is up to 5 cm.
6. The system has a built-in relay and RS-485 for remote relay unit RU1, RU2, DINRTT, RTT.
7. The system has a buzzer that can be turned ON/OFF via XPR Smart Admin and has a backlight control for on-board relay only.
8. The system has tamper protection and an RS-485 interface for connecting I/O boards like RU1, RTT, RU2, and DINRTT.
9. The door open time of the system is 0 to 255 sec. or toggle (ON/OFF mode).

RESET READER TO DEFAULT

1. Turn the device OFF
2. Put dipswitch 1 to position ON
3. Turn the power ON
4. Wait approx. 15 seconds until continuous beeps.
5. Put dipswitch 1 to OFF
6. Wait for a long beep and orange backlight led.

The reset procedure will bring the reader to default. The pairing key and password will be reset to default, all the users will be deleted and remote relay unit will be unpaired.

WIRING AND PAIRING

There are four options to wire and pair the reader. It can be paired to RU2, RU1, DINRTT and RTT.

Pairing the reader with remote relay unit is done from the remote relay unit and enables added security. After being paired, it is not possible to switch any of the devices, since the reader will work only with the paired remote relay unit. The remote relay units compatible with DINMTPX-BT-EH- SA are RU1, RU2, RTT and DINRTT. Once connected, the remote relay unit must be paired with the reader.

Wiring DINMTPX-BT-EH-SA to Wiegand Controller
If the reader is installed with separate power supply, do not connect power lines 12-24VAC/DC lines to the controller!

By default, the reader is set to Wiegand 26 bit.You can set the reader, using the software, to Wiegand 24, 26, 32, 34, 56, 58 bits.

SETTING UP READERS WITH XPR SMART ADMIN WINDOWS SOFTWARE

1. Add site first.
2. Click on “ADD” reader.
3. Select type “DINMTPX-BT-EH-SA”.
4. Scan for readers near by clicking on “Scan”. Found readers will be listed (pic.2). Click on “Select”.
5. Add a pairing key and the password. (pic. 3).
6. If the pairing is successful, the buttons in the reader section will be enabled. (pic.4).

Defaults:

• Pairing key: 12345678
• Password: 00000000

Users Software
Application for users, allowing them to manage the doors from a distance. (max distance: 5m).

Administrator Software
Software for the installation administrator, allowing him/her to program all readers and update them, manage users and their access rights, download events and edit reports. (Max distance: 3m).

ADDING USERS

1. Go to Users and select the user. Edit the name directly. Enable it.
2. Put Card ID. The Card ID can be read directly from the reader or from USB desktop reader.
3. PIN Code will be used also as a password for the mobile app ”XPR Smart Access”.
4. Select proper Access level and validity period.
5. After this, go to the reader and “Upload users to reader”.

Application for the installation administrator, allowing programming one reader at a time and update it, manage users and their access rights and downloading events. (Max distance: 3m).
