Product Usage Instructions

  1. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse box before starting the installation.
  2. Remove the old fixture and its mounting hardware.
  3. Unpack the new fixture carefully and lay out all the parts.
  4. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2.
  5. If the junction box has a ground wire, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided.
  6. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the junction box.
  7. Place the canopy over the mounting plate and secure it with screws.
  8. Thread the acrylic rods into the couplers.
  9. Place the glass shade followed by the metal ring over the socket and secure it with the screw shell.
  10. Install 9 medium base bulbs up to 100 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating of 900 watts.
  11. Place the cloth shade onto the glass shade.
  12. Secure the finial onto all threads on the fixture body.
  13. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING! SHUT THE POWER OFF AT THE FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.

  1. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.
  2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clean area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.
  3. Secure rod (M) onto all thread (N) on fixture body and place coupling (O) over all thread of rod (M).
  4. Determine desired hanging height and thread rods (F1,F2,F3) to all thread on rod (M). Attach canopy (D) by threading onto rod (F1). Carefully pass wires through each rod during assembly. Note: Remove all thread, if installing with one 6” rod only.
  5. Position mounting plate (A) on ceiling and mark location of the two mounting holes. Drill holes on ceiling and insert plastic anchors (P).
  6. Attach mounting plate (A) to junction box (not included) with mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5”) and wood screws (Q) into drywall anchors (P). The side of mounting plate marked “GND” must face out.
  7. The support cable is provided to support weight of fixture while wiring. Align the fixture to mounting plate (A) and attach hook (G) on the end of support cable (C) into a slot located on mounting plate (A). Carefully allow support cable (C) to support the weight of the fixture while wiring (Fig.1).
    • CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
  8. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If the junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided.
  9. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the junction box.
    • FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig.1)
  10. Place canopy (D) over the mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (E).
  11. Thread acrylic rods (H1), (H2), (H3), (H4) into couplers (L1), (L2), (L3), (L4).
  12. Place glass shade (R) followed by a metal ring (S) over a socket (K) and secure with a screw shell (T).
  13. Install (9) nine medium base bulbs (U) up to 100 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification.
    • DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!
  14. Place cloth shade (V) onto the glass shade (R).
  15. Secure finial (J) onto all thread (I) on the fixture body.

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
