Functions

1. USB Port: when the battery is out of power, can use a power bank to emergency charge to open the lock.
2. Fingerprint Light: It shows unlocking signal.
3. Key Hole: use mechanical key to open the lock.
4. Fingerprint Reader: use Valid Fingerprints to open the lock.
5. Password Unlock: input 6 bits password (which you setting) to open the lock.
6. Black Button: click it to open/close normal open mode.
7. Manual Knob: rotate it to open/close the lock.
8. Rest Factory Setting: Click the reset key on the bottom right corner of the battery box for 5s.

Operation

Normal Functions

• Capacity: fingerprint 100pcs, password 100groups, card 100pcs.
• Waking up the lock by touching the keypad.
• Press to enter network connecting (the lock must be haven’t connected any smartphone), 60s is to timeout.
• Press to set users on the fingerprint lock, the timeout is 10s. ( if have connected to app first, you have to disconnect the Bluetooth of your smartphone first.)
• Press to open normal open mode. (Note: if there is a administrator, need to verifying the administrator.) The normal open mode will be closed when you click the black button of the rear panel, or press
• Press to change language: Chinese/English. (Note: if there is a administrator, need to verifying the administrator.)
• Press to adjust the volume. There are four levels of volume:   and the voice is from low to loud. (Note: if there is a administrator, need to verifying the administrator.)
• Press to restore factory setting( have to close all Phone Bluetooth), the timeout is 10s.
• Click the resetting button which is on the bottom right corner of battery box for 5s to restore factory setting, you will hear “ restore factory setting successfully”.
• The initial password is 666666, and the phantom password length is 20 bits.
• key is a exit/delete key. is a confirmed key.

There are two ways to set up users information

• One is setting on the fingerprint lock.
• One is setting by tuya smart App/smart life app.

How to set up users information on the fingerprint lock

1. waking up the lock by touching keypad for 2s;
2. Press to enter setting users interface. (if there is a administrator, please verifying the administrator.) ( if have connected to app first, you have to disconnect the Bluetooth of your smartphone first.) III
3. Setting fingerprint user: put your fingerprint to the fingerprint reader for 3 times, until it sounds “enter success”.
4. Setting password user: enter 6 bits password for twice,then you will hear “enter success”.
5. Setting card user: put IC Card on the card area, then you will hear “enter success”.
6. Connecting the lock with smart life app: please refer to the following steps.

How to set up users information by smart life app

App Installation

1. Download and install the “Smart Life” APP from the application market or scan the QR code.
2. After installation, follow the prompts to register and log in.

Connect the lock with smart life app

1. Open the Bluetooth and Location of your smartphone. Then press “1#” of the lock.
2. Open smart life app, the device will automatically pop up, the device name is “Smart. Lock”, please add the device and modify device name.

Member Management

Add Family Member

Click “Member Management” on the unlock interface and select “+” in the upper right corner of the interface. Please select “Family Member” and click “Add” to add a family member. Please enter your family name and his account of smart life app,and select his family role (common member or administrator), then click “save”, and he will receive your invitation.

When your family member receive your invitation, open smart life app, click “Me”→”Home Management”→Find the family and accept the invitation, then they have been shared the lock. After Joining, return to the main interface, and select the family name in the list on the upper left corner, then the lock device will shown in the main interface.

How to delete Family Member: in the main interface of the smart life app, click “ME” “Home Management” click “Family Member Name” click “Remove Member”. 2) Add other member (for limited time users) Click “Member Management” on the unlock interface and select “+” in the upper right corner of the interface. Please select “other Member” and click “Add” to add an other member. The time limit and effective date must be set. These other members can’t open the lock when the lock is out off power. The administrator have to update data by smart life app, then these other member can open the lock.

Setting up user information

Click “settings” on the unlock interface.

Setting up fingerprint users

Select “fingerprint management” on the settings page, then click “add fingerprint” to select user( if you haven’t set up a administrator on the fingerprint lock, you must select the administrator user first.) Please follow the prompts to put your fingerprint to the fingerprint reader for 3 times, then will hear “enter success”. You can enter a name of the fingerprint user and click “done”.

Setting up password users

Select “password management” on the settings page to enter password management page, click “add password” to select user, then following the prompts to enter 6 bits password and user’s name (password can be randomly generated or entered by the user),and click save, then will hear “enter success”. Phantom passwords Length is 20 bits.

Setting up card users

Select “card management” on the settings page to enter card management page, click “add card” to select user, then following the prompts to put IC card on the card area of the fingerprint lock. You will hear “enter success”, then enter card user’s name and click “Done”.

Generate dynamic passwords

On the unlock interface, swipe your finger left to enter the next interface and click “Obtain dynamic password” to generate a dynamic password. Enter the password on the lock to open the lock.

Note: the valid time of the dynamic passwords is 5 minutes.

Restore Factory Setting

Note: this way can delete all users (no matter set up on fingerprint lock or by app) to restore factory setting.

There are two methods to operate.

Operate in the lock

1. Click the resetting button which is on the bottom right corner of battery box for 5s to restore factory setting, you will hear “ restore factory setting successfully”.
2. Press to restore factory setting( have to close all Phone Bluetooth), the timeout is 10s. ( (Note: if there is a administrator, need to verifying the administrator.)

Operate in the app

The lock is connected to the Smart Life APP. On the unlock page, click the “edit”on the top right corner,then click” remove device”–”Disconnect and wipe data”–”confirm”. The lock will be completely restored to factory settings .

Drilling Hole

1. Measure the size of door hole and confirm it is
2. 1/8’’ (54mm).
3. Measure the size of backset and confirm it is
4. -3/8’’ or 2-3/4’’ (60mm or 70mm).

• Measure the size of door edge and confirm it is 1’’ (25mm).
• Measure and confirm the size of door thickness is between 1-3/8’’ and 2-1/7’’ (35mm-55mm)
• According the size to drill holes.

Installation

Insert the deadbolt latch into the door.

Install the strike on the door frame.

Install the lock on the door refer to the following picture.
Notice: Please keep the manual knob on the Vertical Direction, when installing.

Adjust the opening direction of the lock.

1. Keep the manual knob on the Vertical Direction. And click the black button on the rear panel to open normal open mode.
2. Click the “settings” on the unlock interface of the smart life app to enter “settings” page. Select the door opening direction according to your door.
3. Click the black button on the rear panel again to close the normal open mode.
4. Then test the lock.
