Product Usage Instructions
- Unbox the product and remove all accessories from the package.
- Attach the &HQWUDO$YH-+ROODQG0,3KRQH–)D[– accessory to the PHFKDQLFDO7UDQVSODQWHU&R device.
- Connect the device to a power source using the provided 0PWFSDUWV#HJOQHW cable.
- The device is now ready to use. Follow the instructions provided in the manual to operate the device.
INSTALLATION
- Lay out toolbar by marking row center and drive center. Mark A-frame drop locations using 26” centers for Cat I or 32” centers for Cat II hitches.
- Install the unit onto the toolbar by using two 3444 U-Bolts, lock washers and hex nuts on the marks made earlier for row spacing.
- Remove the front pipe stand next to the unit clamp and one from the back of the unit, these will be used later.
- Install one half of the hex coupler onto the drive side of the unit. Loosen the hex bearings and set screw on the clamp at this me. This will make it easier to align the two shas on the drive and unit.
- Install the other half of the hex coupler onto the drive and remove the guard.
- Install the drive onto the toolbar centering the drive on the mark made earlier by using four 5/8 x 6 hex head bolts, lock washers and nuts.
- Insert the rubber spider onto one of the hex coupler halves, align shats and tighten the hex bearings and setscrews on the unit clamp. Align the unit drive chain and the sprocket and guard set screws.
- Install the drive guard
- Install gauge wheel by using four 5/8 x 6-1/2” hex bolts, two red 1/2 x 2 x 6” securing plates, four 5/8” lock washers and nuts for a 4×4” toolbar or four 5/8 x 9-1/2” hex head bolts for a 4×7” toolbar. Again, if mounTIng pipe stand bracket on front of gauge wheel, only one plate will be used.
- Install the set-ahead brackets by using three 3444 U-Bolts, lock washers and nuts. Leave loose.
- Install front bar, then TIghten all U-Bolts.
- Insert the pipe stands into the pipe stand bracket removed from the unit earlier
- Install pipe stand and bracket to front bar by using two 5844 U-Bolts, lock washers and nuts.
- Install the A-frame. Refer to set-up sheet included in A-frame box.
- Install side arm ( this bar can be set up on either side of the unit for operator comfort) using two 5844 U-bolts for 4×4” toolbar or two 5847 U-bolts for 4×7” toolbar with four 5/8” lock washers and nuts.
- Install green seat bracket with one 728 U-bolt, two ½” flat washers and two ½” crown lock nuts. Install seat by using 1/2 x 1-1/2” carriage bolt, ½” flat washer and ½” crown lock nut.
- Install footrest, step and carrousel mountings using one 728 U-bolt, two ½” washers and two crown lock nuts.
- Install the upper carrousel bracket using one 5/8 x 3-1/2 hex head bolt, one 5/8” flat washer and one 5/8” lock washer. Insert carrousel pipe and use set collar to set at desired height. Install traction pads on step and foot. rest.
- Assemble the shelving system as shown using 1/2 x 1 carriage bolts, flat washers, lock washers and nuts. Set shelves to desired height and tighten setscrews.

Optional Barrel Mount Optional
- Install barrel mounts by using one 3444 U-Bolt, 2 Nuts and lock washers; ensuring 21” on center for barrel.
- Install the pipe nipple in the bottom of the barrel. Try not to over tighten to prevent stripping the thread or breaking.
- Place barrels onto mounts securely by using 2 straps, four “J-Bolts” and four 5/16 Flange Nuts. Leave loose until you fill the tanks, then tighten nuts.
- Connect water hose to the pump.
Safety Precautions
- Make sure tractor is stopped and in neutral with the transplanter lowered to the ground before going on /off the unit.
- No operator is allowed to be on the unit as it is raised and lowered.
- No operator is allowed on the transplanter as it is transported to or from the field.
- All operators must be seated before movement begins and remain seated un?l the transplanter is completely stopped.
- Never leave the transplanter in the raised position
- Keep all shields and guards in place when operating the transplanter.
- Never attempt repairs or maintenance while the transplanter is in motion.
- Never put the tractor in reverse while the transplanter is on the ground.
- Follow all safety instructions supplied by the tractor manufacturer to which the transplanter is mounted.

Limited Warranty
Mechanical Transplanter Company, LLC warrants each item of new equipment
manufactured by Mechanical to be free from defects in material and workmanship
under normal use and service. The obligation of Mechanical Transplanter
Company, LLC under this LIMITED WARRENTY is limited to repairing or replacing
as Me-chanical may elect, any parts that prove, in Mechanical’s judgement, to
be defective in material and workmanship within the first season’s use of 45
consecutive days atier initially placing equipment in operation, whichever
occurs first. Any outside work or alter-actions without Mechanical’s written
approval will render the LIMITED WARRANTY void.
Mechanical’s obligation specifically excludes any liability for consequential
damages, such as loss of profits, delays, expenses, dam-age to goods or
property used in connection with or processed in or by the product sold, or
damage to the product sold from what-soever cause, whether or not such loss is
due to negligence of selling dealer of Mechanical Transplanter Company, LLC.
This limited warranty shall not apply to any item or machine which shall have
been operated in a manner not recommended by the Company nor which shall have
been repaired, altered, misused, damaged in an accident, neglected, tampered
with or used in any way which in the Company’s opinion adversely affects its
performance and results. No person is authorized to give any other warranties
or to assume any other liability on behalf of Mechanical Transplanter Compa-
ny, LLC unless made in writing by Mechanical Transplanter Company, LLC.
This limited warranty covers repair or replacement of Mechanical’s equipment
only and does not cover crop loss, down me, labor, damage to other equipment,
etc.
This limited warranty does not apply to exterior finishes, res, chain links, bearings, or any other items sold by Mechanical Trans-planter Company, LLC, but warranted by the original manufacturer except to the extent of their individual manufacturer’s warranty. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXCLUDED, AS ARE ALL OTHER REPRESENTATIONS TO THE USER-PURCHASER, AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING LIABILTY FOR INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ON THE PART OF MECHANICAL OR THE SELLER.
