Product Information
The QFL5586SGD and QFL5586MBK are fixtures designed for indooruse. These fixtures feature a fixture body, glass shade, innerbackplate, mounting hardware, wire connectors, and outlet boxscrews. The recommended bulb type for this fixture is a candelabra(E12) type G16 bulb with a maximum wattage of 60W. The fixtures areavailable in two finishes – Satin Gold (SGD) and Matte Black (MBK).

assemble, install or operate the product.
- Before beginning installation, turn off the electricity at the circuit breaker box or the main fuse box to avoid the risk of electric shock.
- Use bulbs specified by the markings and/or labels on the fixture to avoid the risk of fire.
- For your safety, read the instructions completely before beginning installation.
- If in doubt about electrical installation, consult a licensed electrician.
- Turn off the electricity to the fixture before replacing the bulb(s).
Tools Required
Tools required for installation include
- Screwdriver
- Wire stripper
- Wire nuts
Installation
- Install the inner backplate (AA) using the mounting screws (BB).
- Connect the white wire from the supply to the white wire on the fixture using a wire nut. Connect the black (or red) wire from the supply to the black wire on the fixture using a wire nut. Connect the ground wire from the supply to the green ground screw on the fixture.
- Install the fixture body (A) onto the inner backplate (AA) using the mounting screws (BB).
- Install the correct bulb referring to fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage. Install the glass shade (B) over the bulb.
Care and Maintenance
- To clean the fixture, wipe it clean using a soft, dry cloth or static duster.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasives as they may damage the finish.
