Product Information: LTU-Lite
The LTU-Lite is a wireless access point designed for PtMP (Point-to-Multi- Point) applications. It comes with a wall mount bracket, screws, screw plugs, flange, Gigabit PoE (Power over Ethernet) with mounting bracket, and a power cord. The device requires a PtMP LTU access point (such as the LTU-Rocket model), Phillips wall mount screwdriver, Category 6 (or higher) shielded cabling, and RJ45 shielded connectors for all Ethernet cable connections. The ETH-SP-G2 is recommended for grounding and lightning protection. The device has system LEDs that indicate the status of the device. The LTU-Lite can be configured through a web-based interface or managed through the UNMS (Ubiquiti Network Management System) application.
Product Usage Instructions: LTU-Lite
Device Installation
The LTU-Lite can be installed using a wall mount or pole mount. Follow the
steps below:
- Choose the appropriate mounting option (wall or pole).
- Attach the mounting bracket to the device using the screws and screw plugs.
- Mount the device on the wall or pole.
- Connect the power cord to the Gigabit PoE and plug it into a power outlet.
Access to Configuration Interface
To access the configuration interface of the LTU-Lite:
- Ensure that your host is connected via Ethernet to the device.
- Configure the Ethernet adapter on your host system with a static IP address on the 192.168.1.x subnet.
- Launch your web browser and type https://192.168.1.20 in the address field. Press Intro (PC) or Return (Mac).
- Select your language and country. Accept the Terms of Use to use the product. Click Continue.
- The LTU configuration interface will open allowing you to customize your settings as needed.
UNMS Management
The LTU-Lite can be managed through the UNMS application. To get started:
- Go to www.unms.com
- Configure, monitor, update, and back up your devices through a single application.
Find My Hotspot
To find nearby access points:
- Click on the “Find My Hotspot” icon.
- Adjust the bandwidth of the channel (default: 20 MHz) according to your needs.
- Click “Find AP”.
- The device will search for nearby access points. Click “Select” on the appropriate access point. To scan again, click “Scan”.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Installer Compliance Responsibility
Devices must be professionally installed and it is the responsibility of
the professional installer to ensure that the device is operational in
accordance with country specific regulatory requirements. The Auto Output
Power field assists the professional installer in meeting regulatory
requirements.

Surge protection must be used in all outdoor installations LTU-Lite Quick
We recommend that you use two Ethernet surge protectors (model ETH-SP-G2), one
near the device and the other at the building entry point. The ETH-SP-G2 will
absorb surge voltages and safely discharge them to the ground.
Note: For guidelines on grounding and lightning protection, follow local electrical regulation codes.
Device overview
System LEDs
- Blue : Initial power up.
- flashing white: Startup in progress.
- Alternation between blue and white: Firmware update in progress.
Puerto Ethernet
The 10/100/1000 Ethernet port is used to connect power and must be connected
to the LAN and DHCP server.
Reset button
To restore factory defaults, press and hold the Reset button for more than 10
seconds while the device is powered on.

Access to the configuration interface

In the Wireless Settings section, adjust the bandwidth of the channel (default: 20 MHz) according to your needs.
Note: For example, if the access point’s channel bandwidth is set to 50 MHz and your device is set to 20 MHz, the device will not detect the access point and you will need to change the channel bandwidth of your device. -
Click Find AP.

The device will search for nearby access points. Click Select (Select) on the appropriate access point. To scan again, click Scan.

Follow the instructions on the screen.
