Product Information

The Full Size Upright Vacuum Cleaner is a household cleaning product that comes with a user manual and replacement parts. The model number of the vacuum cleaner is UD70171. It is important to read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. The product is not intended for commercial use, and if used commercially, the warranty will be void. The vacuum cleaner has a polarized plug to reduce the risk of electric shock, and it contains a thermal protector to protect it from overheating. The on-board toolkit includes an extension hose, extension wand, crevice tool, and dusting brush tool.

Product Usage Instructions

Before using the Full Size Upright Vacuum Cleaner, fully assemble the product using a Phillips head screwdriver. Empty the dirt cup when it’s full, and assemble it from the front of the unit and slide the back panel down into place. Then slide the handle into the top. Insert the yellow knob into the back panel and rotate it to lock the handle in place. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to drive the screw into the back panel to secure it to the base.

When using the vacuum cleaner, make sure to read all safety warnings and instructions before use. Unplug the vacuum before connecting the hose, wand, or tools. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs and always place the cleaner at the bottom of stairs or on the floor to avoid personal injury or damage. Do not place the cleaner on stairs or furniture as it may result in injury or damage. When using tools, always ensure the handle is in an upright position.

The on-board toolkit can be used for above-floor cleaning by attaching the extension hose at both ends on the back of the unit and routing it around the upper handle hose hook. Then place tools in on-board storage and wrap cord around cord hooks. When using the 2-IN-1 Combo Tool, press the lock button down and slide to switch between the crevice tool and dusting brush tool. The extension wand can be attached to the cleaning wand for longer reach on above and hard floor cleaning.

If the thermal protector activates, turn the cleaner off and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Empty the dirt cup and inspect the nozzle inlet, hose connector, hose, dirt cup inlet, cyclonic filter, and rinsable filter. When the cleaner is turned off and the motor cools for 30 minutes, the thermal protector will deactivate, and cleaning may continue. If the thermal protector continues to activate after following the above steps, your cleaner needs servicing. Do not return it to the store. Instead, contact customer service at 1-800-321-1134 prior to continuing use.
