READ ALL SAFETY WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.
WARNING: WHEN USING AN ELECTRICAL PRODUCT, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE, ANDIOR SERIOUS INJURY, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

• Fully assemble product prior to use.
• Operate steam cleaner only at voltage specified on data label on back of steam cleaner.
• Do not leave steam cleaner when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning or servicing.
• Do not use outdoors or store outdoors.
• Do not use for space heating purposes.
• Do not immerse in water.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Not intended for use by children aged 12 and under. Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children. To avoid injury or damage, keep children away from product, and do not allow children to place fingers or other objects into any openings
• Do not use any extension cord with this product.
• Do not handle the plug, or the Steam Cleaner with wet hands.
• Do not operate the Steam Cleaner without footwear.
• Do not place hands or feet under the Steam Cleaner while it is in operation as the unit gets very hot and may create a burn hazard.
• Use only on flat, horizontal surfaces. Do not use the Steam Floor Head on walls, counter tops or windows.
• To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the Steam Cleaner into water or any other liquids.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments and products.
• Do not use product with damaged cord or plug. If product is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, call customer service at 1-800-321-1134 prior to continuing use.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not place product on cord. Do not run steam cleaner over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs. When not in use do not place steam cleaner on stairs or furniture, as it may result in injury or damage.
• To avoid burn or injury, do not apply steam directly to any person or animal.
• Use only water and manufacturer’s recommended formula to refill the water tanks. Do not use any other type of chemicals or additives in the water tank.
• Do not add descaling, aromatic, alcoholic products, cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils or any other chemicals to the water used in this steam cleaner as this may damage the steam cleaner or make it unsafe for use. While this Steam Cleaner is designed for tap water, to increase effectiveness of the steam and to avoid buildup of materials, you may use distilled water.
• Do not add unless recommended by manufacturer.
• Do not use Steam Cleaner in an enclosed space filled with vapor given off by oil-based paint, paint thinners, some moth proofing substances, flammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapors.
• When in use, never turn the steam cleaner over or use while on its side.
• Allow Steam Cleaner sufficient time to cool prior to removing the microfiber pad.
• Before cleaning, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and clean with a dry or damp cloth. Do not pour water or use alcohol, benzene or paint thinner on the steam cleaner.
• Do not use in areas where flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline may be present.
• Do not use without microfiber pad properly attached to mop head.
• Do not clean over floor electrical outlets.
• Do not use the Floor Head on leather, wax polished furniture or floors, synthetic fabrics, velvet or other delicate, steam sensitive materials.
• Do not operate Steam Cleaner without water in water tanks.
• Unplug Steam Cleaner from outlet before filling, rinsing or cleaning.

CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DAMAGE:

• Check and follow flooring manufacturer’s warranty and recommendations regarding the use of steam mops PRIOR to using this product on your floors and carpets.
• Store appropriately indoors in a dry place. Do not expose machine to freezing temperatures.
• Never use Steam Cleaner without microfiber pad attached.
• Never leave Steam Cleaner in one spot or on any surface for any period of time when pump is turned on and steam is activated.
• Do not use this product on Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVF), Tile (LVT) or Plank (LVP). We recommend that you refer to the floor manufacturers specific cleaning instructions to protect your luxury Vinyl.

WARNING:
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, THIS APPLIANCE HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (ONE BLADE IS WIDER THAN THE OTHER). THIS PLUG WILL FIT IN A POLARIZED OUTLET ONLY ONE WAY. IF THE PLUG DOES NOT FIT FULLY IN THE OUTLET, REVERSE THE PLUG. IF IT STILL DOES NOT FIT, CONTACT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO INSTALL THE PROPER OUTLET. DO NOT CHANGE THE PLUG IN ANY WAY.

GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR STEAM CLEANER

ASSEMBLY NEEDED

1. Insert the body into the floor head until it clicks into place.
2. Connect handle to shaft.
3. Attach shaft to unit body.

ATTACH MICROFIBER PAD
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury – Unplug the steam cleaner when assembling the accessories.
IMPORTANT: Never use the Steam Cleaner without the Microfiber Pad correctly attached to the Floor Head.

1. Place the cleaning pad on the floor white side facing up. Place steam cleaner on top of pad making sure the floor head covers the entire pad. Hook and loop feature on the bottom of the mop will hold the pad in place.

HOW TO USE

TO STEAM HARD FLOOR

1. Attach Mop Pad
2. For best performance, use the top steam setting out of the 3-modes
3. Set mode of choice for specific cleaning.
4. Run 6 strokes at medium pace (5-7 seconds per 32″ strokes) across same area. Allow to dry

1. Water tank removes by both side release buttons on water tank.
2. Fill the water tank using the provided fill funnel. For best performance, use demineralized water or Dirt Devil fragrance formula.
3. Plug into an outlet. Flip power switch down to T to turn on. Steam Mop is pre-set to top steam mode for fast steam water ramp up time.
4. Steam Control tight will BLINK White to indicate the machine is on and heating up.
5. Steam Light will illuminate continuous White when Steam Mop is ready to use. (Change to desired setting after heat up time)
6. Select a steam setting for specific 3-steam settings – Low (delicate floors), Medium (regular cleaning), and High (durable floors or sticky messes)
7. To recline the steam cleaner place foot here and pull handle backwards.
8. Move the steam cleaner slowly backwards and forwards across the floor.

WARNING: Do not clean over floor electrical outlets. Do not use steam cleaner without water in the Main Water Tank.

MAINTENANCE

This steam cleaner contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself.
If steam cleaner is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, call Customer Service at 1-800-321-1134 prior to continuing use.
IMPORTANT: Allow the steam cleaner to fully cool down before performing any maintenance or troubleshooting checks.

REMOVING CLEANING PAD
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury – Unplug Steam Cleaner before servicing and allow to cool.
IMPORTANT: Never use bleach or fabric softener when washing the pad.

1. Hold corner of pad down with foot and lift steam cleaner to peel away.
2. All cleaning pads are machine washable on WARM setting. For best results lay flat to dry. Allow to fully dry before use.

REPLACING THE HARD WATER FILTER

1. Remove water tank (water filter behind tank)
2. Place fingers and grip side clips of the hard water filter to remove.
3. New filter has a beige/cream color.
4. Ensure the hard water filter is properly snapped back in place when performing maintenance.
5. Hard water filter should be replaced every 6-8 months or when discolored.

CLEANING BLOCKAGES
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury – Unplug Steam Cleaner before servicing and allow to cool.

1. Unplug the unit.
2. To remove the floor head from the body push the floor head release button and lift.
3. After the floor head is removed, use a thin object such as a paper-clip (in the area shown), to remove the blockage.
4. With the pad removed from the floor head, insert a small thin object such as a paper-clip in to the steam holes to remove a blockage.

Microfiber pad doesn’t pick up dirt| 1. The cleaning pad may already be saturated with dirt and needs washing.| 1. Wash or replace with clean pad. Please refer to the “Removing Cleaning Pads” section.

WARRANTY

**ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (DOMESTIC USE)*
If this product is not as warranted, contact TTI Floor Care North America Customer Service at 1-800-321-1134. Please have available the proof of purchase and model number for the warranted product.
Failure to register the product does not diminish product warranty rights.
WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS: This limited warranty provided by Royal Appliance Mfg. Co., doing business as TTI Floor Care North America (referred to hereafter as “Warrantor”) applies only to products purchased in the U.S. (including its territories and possessions), a U.S. Military Exchange, or Canada. When used and maintained in normal household use and in accordance with the Owner’s Guide, this product is warranted against original defects in material and workmanship for ONE year from the date of original purchase (the “Warranty Period”). If Warrantor determines that the issue you are experiencing is covered under the terms of this warranty (a “covered warranty claim”), we will, at our sole discretion and free of charge (subject to the cost of shipping), either (i) repair your product; (ii) ship you a replacement product, subject to availability; or (iii) in the event that the applicable parts or replacement are not reasonably available, ship you a similar product of equal or greater value. In the unlikely event that we are unable to repair your product or ship a replacement or similar product, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to issue you a refund or store credit (if applicable) of the actual purchase price at the time of the original purchase as reflected on the original sales receipt. Parts and replacements may be new, refurbished, lightly used, or re manufactured, in Warrantor’s sole discretion.
WHO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS: This limited warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser, with original proof of purchase from Warrantor or an authorized dealer of Warrantor products, in the U.S., U.S. Military Exchanges, and Canada.
WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: This warranty does not cover use of the product in a commercial operation (such as maid. janitorial, and equipment rental services, or any other income-generating activity); improper maintenance of the product; the product if it has been subject to misuse, negligence, neglect, vandalism, or the use of voltages other than that on the data plate of this product. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from an act of God, accident, owner’s acts or omissions, service of this product by other than Warrantor or a Warrantor authorized service provider (if applicable), or other acts beyond the control of Warrantor. This warranty also does not cover use outside the country in which the product was initially purchased, or resale of the product by the original owner. Pick-up, delivery, transportation, and house calls are not covered by this warranty. In addition, this warranty does not cover any product that has been altered or modified, or repairs made necessary by normal wear or the use of other products, parts, or accessories which are either incompatible with this product or adversely affect this product’s operation, performance, or durability. Normal wear items are not covered under this warranty. Depending on the product, normal wear items may include, but are not limited to, belts, filters, brush rolls, blower fans, blower and vacuum tubes, and vacuum bags and straps.
OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS: This warranty is not transferable and may not be assigned; any assignment made in contravention of this prohibition is void. This warranty shall be governed and construed under the laws of the state of North Carolina. The Warranty Period will not be extended by any replacement of batteries, parts, or products or by virtue of any repair performed under this warranty.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND REMEDY, AND ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT WILL WARRANTOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR NATURE TO OWNER OR ANY PARTY CLAIMING THROUGH OWNER, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, TORT, OR STRICT PRODUCTS LIABILITY OR ARISING FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF THIS WARRANTY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NO WARRANTIES THAT ARISE BY OPERATION OF LAW, IF APPLICABLE, SHALL EXCEED THE DURATION OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN. Warrantor’s liability for damages to you for any costs whatsoever arising out of this statement of limited warranty shall be limited io the amount paid for this product at the time of original purchase.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, disclaimers of implied warranties, or limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so the above exclusions, disclaimers, andlor limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
GENUINE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES:** We recommend using only with genuine Dirt Devil® solutions (for carpet and spot cleaners), parts, and accessories. Damage caused by use with other than genuine Dirt Devil® solutions, parts, and accessories is not covered by and may void your warranty.
