ARMODD Kidz GPS 4G Watch - Product Description

Charging and Starting

  1. Prior to the first use, fully charge the watch. Always only use the original charging cable included in the package. Always charge for a maximum of 2 hours and do not handle the watch during the charging process.
  2. Connect the charging cable to the USB port of a laptop connected to the mains, or a mains adaptor for regular mobile phones (5V) and attach the magnetic cable terminal on the other side to the charging contacts of the watch. After about 10 seconds, the watch will start charging.
  3. Once charged, disconnect the charging cable and if the watch screen does not light up itself, push the side button for at least 5 seconds.

Watch Control

Hold the side button down for a while to switch on/off the watch or to activate the SOS call. (If the SOS phone number is set, the watch can only be switched off in the application).
Press the side button briefly to switch the screen on/off.
Scroll the functions by moving your finger on the screen (switch the screens, scroll the menu).
Click the screen to activate the required function.
Press the push button to go back or end the call.
Scrolling from the top down, the signal indication, notifications, battery status and time appear.

SIM Card

  1. The Nano SIM card must support the GSM network (4G) and enable GPRS data transmission and Caller ID (caller ID display).
  2. The monthly data capacity is usually up to 30 MB.
  3. The watch operation is supported by most of the national operators, we do not recommend using a virtual operator.
  4. Before inserting the SIM card, activate it first in a mobile phone – as recommended by the respective operator. It is necessary to activate both calls and data.
  5. When activating the SIM card, cancel the PIN and remove the card from the mobile phone.
  6. The watch must always be off when inserting the SIM card in the watch.
  7. Pull out the body from the watch frame by pressing down on the screen. You will find the SIM card slot on the left side.
  8. Then reset the watch to its original status – push the SIM card slot back into the watch and place the body back in the frame.
  9. The cover must be attached properly to avoid penetration of water or dust.
  10. Hold the side button down (10 sec.) to switch on the watch and wait for the SIM card to be read.

Important Notices, Recommendations and FAQ

  1. Use only original accessories.
  2. All values measured are only approximates.
  3. Operation of some functions depends on the phone setting, as well as on the specific watch and application version.
  4. To set correct data and time, the watch needs to be registered in the parent’s phone application. Date and time are set automatically after the time zone is set.
  5. The watch has the IP67 protection. We recommend avoiding contact of the watch with water under pressure, fast and powerfully flowing water, water jets and hot water and steam because water might get into the watch and damage it as a result of wear and tear of, or mechanical damage to, the case, or microscopic cracks in the gasket. We recommend not exposing the watch to extreme changes in pressure (e.g. diving, some water sports, etc.) or liquids other than fresh water. Never operate the buttons if the case is in contact with water. The water might penetrate inside and damage the watch. Wipe off the watch after contact with water.
  6. Never charge the watch for more than 2 hours (5V voltage – never above). Improper charging reduces the battery capacity and useful life. The battery capacity is mainly affected by the ambient conditions (e.g. temperature) and the number of activated functions. The battery may run out of charge in several hours when some functions are activated. The battery capacity naturally decreases over time. If you do not use the watch, do not leave them discharged for a long time and charge them from time to time.
  7. To ensure proper operation of the watch, always upgrade the application to the latest version.
  8. Protect the watch against fall and impact. Do not expose it to high temperatures or direct sun light. This may result in incorrect functioning of the watch or complete malfunctioning. Store the watch at the room temperature.
  9. The watch contains an integrated battery. Do not put it in fire and do not expose it to extreme temperatures – there is a risk of explosion.
  10. Do not disassemble the watch or accessories.
  11. Do not use the product near explosives and chemicals.
  12. In the case of disassembly or damage, keep the product out of the reach of children. It may contain small components which can be inhaled.
  13. The watch software and application are upgraded on a continuous basis. Therefore, the manufacturer reserves its right to amend the instructions for use or the individual functions without prior notice.
  14. In case of further questions, contact the manufacturer.
