  • We recommend an area approximately 5’x 8’ for unobstructed assembling.
  • You should not need to use excessive force when assembling components.

STEP 1: LAY OUT TOOLS

STEP 2: LAY OUT MATERIALS

  • Ground Stake (4) 3/4″ x 1 1/4″ x 14″

  • Slat (22) .4″ x 2.875″ x 357/8″

  • Rail (4) 7/8″ x 11/2″ x 357/8
    Lay Out Materials

  • Left Post (2) 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ x 44″

  • Right Post (2) 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ x 44″

  • Joiner Clip (2) 1/13″ x 3/4″ x 1 3/4″

  • 3/4” Self-Drilling Stainless Steel Screw (28)

STEP 3: ASSEMBLE THE PANEL

STEP 3.1

  1. Slide (2) Rails (C) into the routed holes in the Left Post (D).
    Assemble The Panel

  2. Slide (11) Slats (B) into the angled slots in the left post.
    Assemble The Panel

Tip: Brace the left post against a wall or raised flat surface to allow for easier installation in future steps.

STEP 3.2

  1. Slide (1) Right Post (E) over the opposite ends of the slats and rails. Ensure the rails and slats are tight to the back of both posts and that the unit is square before driving in screws.

  2. Drive (8) total 3/4″ Self-Drilling Stainless Steel Screw (G) into the pre-drilled holes in the posts.

STEP 4: INSTALL THE GROUND STAKES

STEP 4.1

  1. Slide (2) Ground Stakes (A) up into the bottom of the posts until the pre-drilled holes in the stakes and posts align.
  2. Drive (4) total 3/4″ self-drilling stainless steel screw into the pre-drilled holes.

STEP 5: ASSEMBLE THE SECOND SCREEN PANEL

STEP 5.1

Repeat Steps 2-3 in order to assemble the second screen.

STEP 6: INSTALL PANELS IN THE GROUND

STEP 6.1

Install Panels In The Ground

  1. Move the screen to its final location, and identify the location of the posts.
  2. Attempt to push the unit into the ground. All 10″ of the ground stakes should go in the ground.
  3. Ensure the unit is properly leveled.

Note: If you face resistance refer to the instructions in the next step. Excessive force can damage the top of the posts.

STEP 6.2

  1. If your ground is too hard, loosen the top 6″ or 7″ of the ground with a claw hammer as illustrated.
  2. Add water to the loosened soil.
  3. Use a block of wood to protect the top of the post and gently hammer the post into the ground.

STEP 6.3

Optional in hard ground: If your ground is too hard, or you have more than 3 or 4 panels to install, please consider these options:

  1. Use a 1¾” diameter auger bit (commonly used for planting tulips) as illustrated ($15-$20 on Amazon.com).

  2. Drill a hole about 12” to 16” deep at the desired location, and fill the holes with water as illustrated.

  3. Push the panel posts into the holes.

STEP 7: CONNECT THE SCREENS

STEP 7.1

  1. Straight Line Application: Connect the screens as shown below using Joiner Clips (F) and 3/4″ self-drilling stainless steel screws.

  2. Corner Application: Connect the screens as shown below using Joiner Clips (F) and 3/4″ self-drilling stainless steel screws.

    Note: There are no pre-drilled holes for the joiner clips to allow for greater customization during assembly
