NOTES ON WALL CONSTRUCTION
WOOD STUD INSTALLATION
The fasteners provided are intended to mount directly into and NO LESS than
two wood wall studs.
Wood studs must be a minimum size of 2” x 4”. The MoPac Wall Cleat was
developed to accommodate wall stud spacing of a minimum of 16” on center and a
maximum of 24” on center. For additional wall construction types see the
following notes.
STEEL STUD INSTALLATION
Fasteners for steel studs are not included. For steel stud installation we
recommend use of Toggler brand (Model 50425) or equivalent for anchoring to AT
LEAST two steel studs. Steel studs must be at least 25 gauge thickness. Follow
installation instructions as outlined by the manufacturer for securing the
anchors. These fasteners are not provided.
CINDER BLOCK WALL INSTALLATION
For Cinder Block installation we recommend use of Toggler brand (Model 50425)

WALL CLEAT DIMENSIONS
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
A. Upon final installation, the cabinet’s top surface will sit 4-1/4” (108mm)
higher than the top edge of the
Wall Cleat. Take this into consideration when planning how high to mount the
cleat. Determine the desired location and height from the floor for placing
the Wall Cleat.
B. Using a stud finder, determine the location of two studs and mark their
location. With a level, ensure the Wall Cleat is level. Using a pencil, mark
all locations for mounting through the holes in the cleat.
C. Pre-drill pilot holes through the wall and into the studs with a 7/64”
drill bit at the marked locations.
D. Using a M10 socket wrench, fasten the M6x80 Lag Bolts and Flat Washers to
the Wall Cleat and into the pre-drilled holes.
Step 2
A. Prepare the assembled MoPac Cabinet for wall mounting.
B. Mount the Cabinet Cleat to the back side of the cabinet using the 3
provided M6x30 Flat Head Machine
Screws and Allen Wrench. Be sure to orient the beveled edge of the Cabinet
Cleat as shown.
C. Thread 2 of the leveling glides (H5) packaged with the MoPac into the
threaded inserts along the back side of the cabinet. Save the remaining
leveling glides in case you decide to place the cabinet on the floor in the
future.
Step 3
A. With assistance, lift the cabinet onto the mounted Wall Cleat, making sure
the Cabinet Cleat is seated securely into the Wall Cleat.
B. If the wall is uneven, rotate either of the leveling glides mounted to the back from Step 2 as needed until the top of the cabinet is level.
Step 3 Continued
C. To prevent dislodging the unit from the wall, install the two M4x30 Wood
Screws through the cabinet and into the Wall Cleat at the locations shown
below.
Step 4
A. If installing additional cabinets repeat Steps 1-3.
B. Use the Side-by-Side Connector hardware (H10 & H11) provided with the MoPac
Cabinet for joining multiple cabinets.
