Safety and Warnings
WARNING! Read all instructions before assembly. Failure to assemble or
operate properly may result in damage or personal injury. Retain this manual
for future reference.
WARNING! Do not stack more than four MoPac Cabinet units vertically or
one MoPac Cabinet on one MoPac Wardrobe.
WARNING! If stacking cabinets or stacking a single cabinet on a wardrobe,
use the MoPac Security Straps to prevent stacked cabinets from tipping and
causing damage, injury, or death. See installation instructions for the
security straps included with each MoPac Cabinet and MoPac Wardrobe.
WARNING! Ensure the furniture is unloaded of contents before moving.
WARNING! To prevent tipping, store the heaviest items towards the bottom.
WARNING! Keep all hardware and parts out of reach of children.
WARNING! Do not climb on or allow children to climb on this furniture.
PACKAGE CONTENTS
MoPac Stacking Brackets
The MoPac Base is compatible with both the MoPac Cabinet and the MoPac Wardrobe. The illustrations used in these instructions show the attachment of the Base to the MoPac Cabinet, but the steps for attaching the Base to the MoPac Wardrobe are identical.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
A. Place all parts on a clean and smooth surface such as a rug or carpet to
avoid scratches.
B. Remove all packaging materials, including box straps, before beginning the
assembly process.
C. With assistance, turn the cabinet or the wardrobe on its back on a flat,
clean surface such as a carpet or blanket.
D. Remove leveling glides from the bottom if they had been previously
installed.
Step 2
A. Align one of the Attachment Plates with the left or right edge of the
cabinet or wardrobe in the orientation shown.
B. Insert two of the M6x20 Flat head Screws through the Attachment Plate where
shown and into the threaded inserts along the bottom panel of the cabinet or
wardrobe.
C. Once both screws are started, tighten them with the 4mm Allen Wrench. Be
careful not to overtighten the screws to avoid stripping out the threaded
inserts.
D. Repeat Step 2 with the other Attachment Plate.
Step 3
A. Take the Crossbars and slide them over the tube extensions on the side of
one of the Legs. Ensure the parts are oriented as shown so that the large hole
found along the side of each Crossbar aligns with the threaded holes in the
Legs.
B. Slide the tube extensions of the other Leg into the opposite ends of the
Crossbars.
C. Slide the assembly of the Crossbars and Legs over the Attachment Plates as
shown so that the tabs on the Attachment Plates are located inside of the
Crossbars and Legs assembly.
Step 3 Continued
D. With the four M6 Washers, loosely insert the M6x12 Pan head Screws through
the holes in the Attachment Plate tabs and Crossbars and into the threaded
holes in the Legs.
E. Once all four screws are started, tighten them using the provided Allen
Wrench.
Step 4
A. With assistance, return the cabinet or wardrobe to an upright position and
place it in its final location. Be careful to lift the unit to move it. Do NOT
drag the unit along the floor as doing so may damage the unit and/or your
floor.
B. Rotate the leveling glides to level the cabinet or wardrobe if the floor is
uneven.
