ASSEMBLY

  1. Alignment of the strap to the camera : The male connectors are already pre-attached on the SNAPSNAP camera strap. Their position on the strap can be changed if necessary by screwing on the cover caps (Fig. E). Then fix the male connectors by screwing the cover caps on hand-tight. To attach your camera correctly, lay the SNAPSNAP camera strap flat in front of you so that the FIDLOCK logo on the neck support is upside down (Fig. F1). Both magnetic heads of the male connectors should be upright in this position, facing away from you (Fig. F2). Place the camera in front of the strap with the lens side facing you (Fig. F3).

  2. Attaching the strap to the camera : To attach the SNAPSNAP camera strap to your camera, please follow the corresponding diagram depending on the construction of your camera. Fig. G1: If your camera has a bracket as shown in this figure, it is attached as shown in the diagram (Fig. G2). Fig. H1: If your camera has a bracket as shown in this figure, it is attached as shown in the diagram (Fig. H2). The length of the strap can now be adjusted by moving the flat ends of the strap through the ladder buckle (Fig. D2).
Note: We recommend carrying the camera as short as possible in the direction of the male connectors to minimise uncontrolled swinging around on the backpack when engaged. Finally, you can roll up the loose strap ends and fix them with the elastic rings (Fig. D4).

  3. Fastening the female connectors to the backpack : Use the silicone fastening bands (Fig. D1) to fasten the female connectors (Fig. C) to the left and right backpack straps of your backpack according to the marking on the back L=left and R=right (Fig. I). Position them at about the same height as your chest (Fig. J).
Note: Make sure that the exit openings point diagonally upwards towards the centre of the body and that both female connectors are at the same height (Fig. J)!

Select the silicone fastening straps according to thickness, so that the female connectors cannot slip down with your camera after attachment to the male connectors. Use silicone fastening straps of the same size for both sides of the shoulder strap. It is normal for the shoulder straps to become deformed when the female connectors are attached.
Note: Only use the silicone fastening straps supplied! If none of the enclosed silicone fastening straps fit, your backpack is not suitable for use with the SNAPSNAP camera strap. If you are unsure of how to assemble the product properly, consult your retailer for advice!
