The product is a set of steam-vented lids with universal downdraft covers, designed for use in cooking. The set includes four models: A9HOLID1, A9HOLID2, A9HOLID3, and A9HOSM. Product Usage Instructions

This product can be used by children aged 8 and older and persons with physical, sensory, or mental limitations or lack of experience and knowledge if they receive guidance or instruction on safe use and understand the dangers. Children under 8 years old and persons with severe and complex limitations should always be kept away from the product unless they are under constant supervision. Keep all packaging away from children and dispose of it appropriately. Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the product. Children under 8 years old should not perform cleaning and maintenance on the product without supervision.
  3. During Use: The product is designed for use in cooking with an exhaust hood. Ensure that the cooking process is continuously monitored. Unattended cooking on a stove with oil can be dangerous and lead to fire. Keep oils away from flames or hot objects during cooking. Heated oil can release flammable vapors. Do not use damaged or repaired products. Regularly check the lid for possible damage. The lid becomes hot during use. Always use oven gloves or pot holders. Place the hot lid on a pot holder or dry towel. Ensure that the lid is cold before washing, cooling, or freezing.

Children of less than 8 years of age and persons with very extensive and complex disabilities should be kept away from the product unless continuously supervised.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Keep all packaging away from children and dispose of it appropriately. Children of less than 8 years of age shall not carry out cleaning and user maintenance of the product without supervision.
This appliance is for cooking purposes only. Do not change the specification of this product.
CAUTION: The cooking process has to be continuously supervised.
WARNING: Unattended cooking on a hob with use of fat can be dangerous and may cause fire.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

  • Keep the fats away from flames or heated objects during cooking. Heated fat can release flammable vapours.
  • Do not use and handle damaged or repaired product. Regularly check the lid for possible damage.
  • The lid becomes hot during use. Always use oven gloves or potholders.
  • Always place the hot lid on a potholder, or dry towels.
  • Handling the lid without an appropriate degree of care could result in breakage, chipping, cracking or severe scratching:
  • Make sure that the lid is cold before washing, refrigerating or freezing.

Environmental concerns

  • Recycle materials with the symbol . Put the packaging in relevant containers to recycle it.
  • The lids are designed to perform on extrac‐tor hobs. The lids can be also used with oth‐er cooking appliances and traditional ex‐haust hoods. The lids fit on the common cookware types.
  • When you place the lid on the cookware, the steam is efficiently moved into the ex‐haust. This prevents cooking smells and ex‐cessive humidity.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  • Remove all the packaging, labelling and protective film.
  • Clean the product with hot water, washing up liquid and a soft cloth.
  • Dry the product.

DAILY USE

Cooking guidelines

  • Place the cookware centrally on the burner.
  • The burner area should be the same size or smaller than the bottom of the cookware – this enables
  • maximum stability while cooking and reduces energy consumption.
  • The lid diameter should be the same as the diameter of the cookware.
  • Place the lid on the cookware while cooking to keep heat loss as low as possible.
  • When cooking is finished, carefully remove the lid from the cookware.

Cooking with extractor hob

•      Before you start cooking, make sure that the steam opening in the lid is positioned to‐ wards off the integrated exhaust. The opening in the lid guides the steam downwards directly to the exhaust.
Cooking with traditional hood
•      Make sure that the steam opening of the lid points to the center of the cooker.

Cooking on the gas hob
•      Burner area should be smaller than the diameter of the cookware.

•      Ensure that the gas flame does not burn around the sides of the cookware base.

CARE AND CLEANING


CAUTION: Before cleaning, wait until the product is cold.


DOs

  • The product is dishwasher-safe.
  • Stack the lids flat in the dishwasher to avoid deformation of the silicone rim.
  • Clean the product with warm water, a washing-up liquid, and a soft cloth.
  • Always clean and dry the product thoroughly.
  • Store the level of the lid on the top of the cookware or in the cupboard to avoid deformation of the silicone rims.

DON’Ts

  • Avoid aggressive cleaning agents.
  • Do not clean the product with abrasive materials.
  • Do not allow food scraps to dry on to the product.
  • Do not overheat the product.

Warranty

For each product we provide a two-year guarantee from the date of purchase or delivery to the consumer (with a guarantee certificate, invoice or sales receipt serving as proof). The guarantee covers the costs of materials, labour and travel. The guarantee will lapse if the operating instructions and conditions of use are not adhered to, if the product is incorrectly installed, or in the event of damage caused by external influences, force majeure, intervention by third parties or the use of non-genuine components.
