Installation steps

  1. Remove the hard disk enclosure Press the scratch button, and then gently slide it out to remove the built-in box in the following order.

  2. Install the hard disk into the hard disk cage Install the hard drive cage with the PCB plate into the hard drive along the slot. PCB slot as shown below

  3. Install the hard disk by pressing the silicone buckle. To ensure proper installation, first check the structure of the plate. Align the HDD with the interface, align the slot of the silicone buckle with the HDD slot, and press it down firmly as shown in the figure below

Formatting Instructions for ConnectingComputer Hard Disk Boxes

Note : If the disk is dropped, it may be the cause of insufficient power supply for USBinterface.Resulting in frequent disconnection.

Question 1: Why can’t the hard disk be recognized after connecting to the computer?
Answer: (1) The connected data cable does not come out of the hard disk, please check the properties of the hard disk and whether the hard disk has been formatted. For the first new disk, it may be necessary to initialize the disk, otherwise the disk will not come out and only the disk manager will see it. The only way to see this is through Disk Manager. The reason for the format could be a format conflict, which is what all hard drive enclosures do first. Compatibility varies from computer to computer.
(2) If it is a desktop computer, please do not connect the USB interface to the front of the host computer, otherwise it may cause insufficient power supply. Plug into the main chassis behind the motherboard USB ports. (Before the USB port of the desktop computer is powered, it is extended through the data cable extension cable. The internal resistance of the extension cable is relatively large, and the host power supply is 5V. After passing through the extension cable, the current is relatively large, the voltage of the extension cable will increase, and the actual Common output voltage will be higher. reduced, so there may be a lack of power supply).
Question 2: Why the transmission speed is slow and the result cannot be received?
Answer: (1) The transmission speed has a certain relationship with the disk sector ring channel and computer configuration.
