Temperature Control

The temperature can be regulated in different positions. Position “0” means STOP mode; Position “7” means the appliance is operating at maximum.

Freezing Food
  • Wrap or seal food in aluminum foil, air tight containers or food storage bags prior to freezing.

  • Allow hot food to cool prior to placing it in the appliance.

  • Smaller portion of food will be frozen faster. The recommended max portion weight is 2.5kg.

  •  Avoid placing warm food directly in contact with already frozen food. Frozen food could defrost and may not outlast the foreseen storage time.

  • The capacity of the appliance, as shown on the technical specifications, should not be exceeded.

  • When filling the appliance with higher quantities of fresh food, it is recommended to turn on the Super Freeze function (if available) 24 hours in advance.

  • The following foods are suitable for freezing:
Cakes and pastries, fish and seafood, meat, game, poultry, vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs without shells, dairy products such as cheese and butter, ready meals and leftovers such as soups, stews, cooked meat and fish, potato dishes, soufflés and desserts.

  • The following foods are not suitable for freezing:
Types of vegetables, which are usually consumed raw, such as lettuce or radishes, eggs in shells, grapes, whole apples, pears and peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, soured milk, sour cream, and mayonnaise.

Recommended storage times of frozen food in the freezer compartment

Never forget:

  • When you freeze fresh foods with a ‘use by /best before/best by/’ date, you must freeze them before this date expires.

  8. Replace the drain-plug (if available).
  9.  Close the lid and plug the appliance into the power socket.
