Homewell Solar Charging Bluetooth Rock Speakers

The Homewell Rock Speaker is a solar-powered outdoor speaker that provides high-fidelity sound and is compatible with a Bluetooth-enabled device. It is perfect for outdoor parties, camping, and other outdoor activities.

Pairing One Speaker with a Bluetooth Device

  1. Turn on the speaker by pressing the power button on the back of  the speaker.  A tone will sound, and the Bluetooth indicator light will quickly flash blue. Now, the speaker is in discovery mode and is ready to be paired with a new device.
  2. Go to Bluetooth settings on your phone or device and pair with Homewell Speaker. When the speaker is successfully paired, a sound will chime, and the Bluetooth indicator will have a steady blue light
  3. Play your favorite music and enjoy.

Pairing Two Speakers with a Device

  1. Turn on the speakers by pressing the power button on the back of the speakers, and a tone will sound from each.
  2. Check to see if they are already connected to each other.  the main speaker light is flashing, and the second speaker light is solid, you can skip to step 5. If they are not already connected, please proceed to step 3.
  3. The Bluetooth indicator lights will quickly flash blue. Now, the speakers are in discovery mode and are ready to be paired to each other z
  4. Double press the Pairing Button on the back of one of the speakers, and a chime will sound. The main speaker will now flash blue, and the secondary speaker will have a steady blue light.
  5. Go to Bluetooth settings on your phone or device and pair with Homewell Speaker. When successfully paired, a sound will chime, and the Bluetooth indicator light on both speakers will be solid.Play your favorite music and enjoy.

Note : Both speakers must be Homewell Speakers to be able to be paired to each other.

Battery Charging
Charging the speaker with the solar panel. Allow the solar speaker to receive a full day of sunlight to fully charge the battery before first use. Place the solar speaker in a spot that will receive the maximum amount of sunlight during the day. Position the solar panel of the speaker to receive at least hours of direct sunlight.

Pairing One Speaker with a Bluetooth Device

NOTE: If you would like to pair the speaker to a different device, you must unpair the speaker from the currently paired device first if that device is still in connection distance.
NOTE: These Homewell Speakers are capable of pairing up to 2 speakers at once. See below for special instructions.
NOTE : The pairing range is about 30+ feet depending on obstructions and environmental factors.
NOTE : Even if the Bluetooth device is disconnected the speaker( s) will continue to be on until manually turned off with the power button.

STEP 2. Check to see if they are already connected to each other. If the main speaker light is flashing and the second speaker light is solid you can skip to step 5. If they are not already connected please proceed to step 3.
STEP 3. The Bluetooth indicator lights will quickly flash blue. Now the speakers are in discovery mode and are ready to be paired to each other.
STEP 4. Double press the “Paring” Button on the back of one of the speakers and a chime will sound. The main speaker will now flash blue and the secondary speaker will have a steady blue light.*
STEP 5. Go to Bluetooth settings on your phone or device and pair it with “Homewell Speaker.” When successfully paired, a sound will chime and the Bluetooth indicator light on both speakers will be solid. Play your favorite music and enjoy.If you run into an issue on step 4 you may have to double- press the pairing button on both speakers to get them to pair to each other. It may take a few tries to double-click the button at different speeds.

NOTE: Both speakers must be Homewell Speakers to be able to be paired to each other.
NOTE: Before pairing both speakers, make sure neither of them are connected to any Bluetooth device. ( If already connected, select ” Homewell Speaker, ” and unpair)
NOTE: Once speakers are paired to each other, speakers will look for each other automatically at each start-up. Wait for the chime sound before playing your favorite music. If the speakers unpair from each other go back and start from step 3.
NOTE: The Pairing Range from your device to the main speaker is about 30+ feet and about 30+ feet from the main speaker to the 2nd speaker depending on obstructions and environmental factors.*If you want to start over and unpair the speakers from each other, press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds on each speaker and then you can proceed with step 3.

Battery Charging

Charging the speaker with USB Cable
Plug the small end of the Micro USB Charging Cable into the Micro USB port on the back of the speaker. Connect the larger end of the Micro USB Charging Cable into your computer or other USB charging device. Recommended charge time with the USB cable is about 5-6 hours. When the speaker is charging, the charging indicator light will turn RED, when it is fully charged the charging indicator will turn GREEN. Remove the Micro USB Charging Cable from the speaker after charging is completed.

Charging the speaker with the solar panel
Allow the solar speaker to receive a full day of sunlight to fully charge the battery prior to first use. Place the solar speaker in a spot that will receive the maximum amount of sunlight during the day. Position the solar panel of the speaker to receive at least 3-4 hours of direct sunlight.
NOTE: The solar panel should be cleaned periodically with a damp cloth to help maintain optimal performance. Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives.
NOTE: Charge times may vary depending on solar conditions.

Battery Replacement

If you notice the battery performance is significantly reduced you can replace it. Unscrew the cover from the control box on the back of the speaker and remove the battery. Replace with a new standard 18650 Lithium ion, 2 000 mah 3.7 V rechargeable battery. Screw the cover back on with all six screws.
NOTE: Dispose of the old battery in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
NOTE: When storing the unit for an extended period of time you may remove the battery to extend it’s life.
NOTE: In order to preserve battery life, we recommend bringing the speaker inside your home during the winter. Temperatures below-4 ° F (-2 0℃) will reduce the battery life.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY WHAT IS COVERED

The manufacturer warrants this product to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty only applies to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. The manufacturer’s only obligation and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modification, alternation, neglect, or mishandling. Proof of purchase must accompany all warranty claims.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not apply to products that are found to have been improperly installed, set up, or used in any way not in accordance with the instruction supplied with the product. This warranty does not apply to a failure of the products as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, or faulty installation. Batteries supplied with this product are not included in this warranty. This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear. The manufacturer does not warranty and specially disclaims any warranty, whether express or implied, of fitness for a particular purpose, other than the warranty contained herein. This warranty does not cover consequential or incidental loss or damage, including but not limited to any labor/expense costs involved in the replacement or repair of the product.
