Product Information
The Hurricane 400 XTT is a cleaning machine designed for quick and efficient cleaning of floors. It comes with a user maintenance manual that contains all the instructions for safe and effective use of the machine. The machine has a tank for water and chemical, a squeegee lever, a brush pedal, and a suction filter. It is equipped with both On Board and Stand Alone battery chargers. The squeegee blades can be replaced easily when worn out. The machine comes with a pad driver for attaching and removing the brush.
Product Usage
Before using the Hurricane 400 XTT, read the user maintenance manual contained in the machine’s packaging and follow all the instructions.
- Add water and chemical to the tank.
- Power on the machine.
- Pull the squeegee lever to lower it.
- Pull the lever to activate the machine.
- Press the lever pedal to move the brush up and down.
- Press once to turn water ON or OFF.
For daily maintenance, check the suction filter, clean the dirty outlet filter tank, and remove any debris. Check and replace the squeegee blades if necessary. To charge the batteries, plug in the On Board charger if equipped. If not equipped, plug in Stand Alone charger into red charge port to charge batteries. To replace the squeegee blades, reposition the two blade pressing devices by centering the wider part of the slots on the squeegee body fastening pins, then push the blade pressing devices inwards. Close the hook again. Replace the squeegee on its support, following the instructions previously described. To attach or remove the pad driver, rest the brush on the floor in front of the machine and center it with the guard. Lower the head and operate the brush/drive switch, once after starting the machine (double brush scrubber). Open the clip (Ref. 1). If thebrush is not centered, raise the head and reposition the brush by adjusting the lever again and repeating the centring. Press the CLICK ON-OFF lever repeatedly until the brush automatically switches on.

PREPARATION AND OPERATION
- Add water and chemical to tank.
- Power on.
- Press lever pedal to move the brush up and down.
- Pull squeegee lever to lower.
- Pull lever to activate.
- Press once to turn water ON or OFF.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
- Clean the dirty water tank.
- Make sure the suction filter and debris filter is clean and undamaged.
- Make sure detergent outlet filter is clean and free of debris.
- Make sure the brushes/drive pad are clean and not worn out. Replace if necessary.
- Make sure the squeegee is clean and the blades are not worn.
- Plug in On Board charger to charge batteries if equipped.
- Plug in Stand Alone charger into the red charge port to charge batteries if not equipped with a Board charger.
NOTE: Never stop charge until cycle is complete (Green light).
REPLACING THE SQUEEGEE BLADES
Open the clip (Ref. 1). Remove the two blade retainers (Ref. 2) by pushing them outwards and then extracting them. Remove the blade. Reuse the same blade by reversing the edge in contact with the floor until all four edges are worn out, or replace with a new blade, fitting it onto the screws on the body of the squeegee. Reposition the two blade-pressing devices by centering the wider part of the slots on the squeegee body fastening pins, then push the blade- pressing devices inwards. Close the hook again. Replace the squeegee on its support, following the instructions previously described.
ATTACHING/REMOVING THE PAD DRIVER
Position the pad driver underneath the head, in the center (single-brush floor scrubber), position the pad driver underneath the head on both sides (double brush scrubber), and switch the machine on. Press the CLICK ON-OFF switch, once after starting the machine releases the pad driver, and pressing a button a second time activates the automatic pad driver attachment. The button is only enabled when all the functions are deactivated (suction motor and pad driver).
