Aqua Slim Accessory X-Force
The Aqua Slim Accessory X-Force is a cleaning appliance and its accessory that complies with the applicable regulatory standards for your safety. Troubleshooting/FAQ
Problem: The appliance suction does not work very well, makes noise, and hisses. Debris falls out onto the floor.
Possible Causes: The accessory air channel is obstructed. The accessory is poorly connected to the vacuum cleaner tube. Vacuum cleaner is defective. The water flow is too high. The water reservoir is leaky.
Solutions: Clean the air channel (see instructions for use). Make sure the accessory is correctly connected. Refer to the appliance safety notice. Use the pedal intermittently in the crossed-out drop position. Contact our After-Sales service.
Problem: The floor is too wet.
Possible Cause: The floor is not damp enough.
Solution: wring it out the vignette (squeeze the cloth).
Problem: The appliance does not clean the floor very well.
Possible Causes: The cloth is saturated. The water reservoir is empty. The pedal is in the crossed-out drop position. The cloth has not been dampened before use. The water distribution system is blocked. The cloth is saturated/dirty. The brush bar is dirty. The accessory is used without the cloth. A foreign body is stuck in the accessory.
Solutions: Clean the wipe (clean the cloth). Clean the brush bar. Clean the accessory.

- Always switch off the appliance before maintenance or cleaning.
- Always turn off the appliance before connecting or disconnecting the accessory.
- Do not vacuum wet surfaces, water or any type of liquids, hot substances, super smooth substances (plaster, cement, ashes, etc.), large sharp items of debris (glass), hazardous products (solvents, abrasives, etc.), aggressive products (acids, cleaning products, etc.), inflammable and explosive products (oil or alcohol based).
- Never immerse the accessory and the appliance in water or any other liquid; do not spill water on the appliance and do not store it outside.
- In case of short vacuum breaks, for safety reasons do not place the product in an unstable position (in particular by resting on a wall, on a table or on a chair backrest).
For countries subject to European regulations ( marking):
- This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and older and by individuals lacking experience or knowledge or with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, if they have been given instruction and are supervised to use the appliance correctly by a person responsibly for their safety and understand the risks involved. Children must notplay with the appliance. Children should not clean or maintain the appliance without supervision. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children.
For other countries not subject to European regulations:
- This appliance is not designed for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, mental or sensory capabilities, or people with no prior experience or knowledge of this appliance, unless they have been given prior supervision and instruction concerning this appliance by a person responsible for their safety. It is recommended that children be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
User guide
- Your accessory is connected to an electrical appliance. It is compatible with the following references: RH20 / TY20
- Refer to the appliance safety and usage instructions before each use.
- This accessory is for indoor domestic and household use only.
- This accessory is designed for use on a hard floor.
- Do not use it on carpets, rugs, walls and windows.
- Do not use the accessory without its water tank and cloth.
- Do not vacuum liquid. Stop using your appliance immediately if there is liquid in the dust collector.
- Do not use your accessory on a floor that is delicate or sensitive to water. We recommend that you check the floor manufacturer’s instructions for use and precautions and test the accessory on an inconspicuous area before cleaning.
- The cloth should be slightly moistened before each use.
Safety
- Do not use on people or animals.
- Do not expose the accessory to temperatures < 0°C and > 45°C.
- Do not put water in the water tank that is hotter than 50°C.
- Do not use thick (ex: soft soap), foaming, toxic, flammable, explosive, corrosive, aggressive or solid particles products in the water tank.
- Household detergent products added into the water tank is your responsibility; Rowenta / Tefal can not be held responsible for problems associated with their use. Follow the recommendations of the detergent manufacturers and do not mix several products in the tank.
- Check that the accessory is firmly attached to the appliance before each use.
- This accessory makes floors wet, which can make them slippery.
- Do not use the appliance barefoot, in flip-flops or in open-toed shoes.
- Do not pull off the water tank stopper or put it in your mouth.
- Do not use the accessory on hot surfaces.
- Do not put liquid in the dust collector of your appliance.
- Do not use the accessory on electrical appliances, such as the inside of ovens or electrical outlets.
- Do not use your accessory if the water tank is leaking.
Maintenance
Maintenance/Storage/After-Sales
- Unclip the accessory before cleaning.
- Remove the cloth before storing your accessory.
- Empty the water tank and place the water tank pedal in the “crossed out drop” position before storing your accessory.
- Do not wash your accessory in the dishwasher.
- Do not clean the water outlet nozzles with aggressive or abrasive materials/tools.
- Do not store the appliance at height.
- Only use original cloths.
