Sengled Smart Wi-Fi TV Light Strip with Video Sync
Introduction
The Sengled Smart Wi-Fi TV Light Strip with Video Sync offers an easy solution to elevate the movie-watching and gaming experience. Video Sync locally analyzes whatever is playing on your TV and extends the action beyond the screen. The segmented strip allows for different addressable LED zones to change colors independently for maximum visual effect. Wi-Fi connectivity integrates with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice platforms, or control with the Sengled Home app.
Important Safety Information
Before installing the Sengled Smart TV Light Strip, please read and follow all precautions, including:
- Turn off power before installation or removal. Discontinue use if damaged.
- Risk of electric shock. Do not attempt to disassemble the TV light strip.
- Suitable for use in an operating environment between 14°F and 104°F (-10°C and 40°C).
- Not for use in emergency lighting.
- Indoor use only.

Note: No smart home hub is required to control Sengled Smart Wi-Fi LED TV Light Strips.
Installing the TV light strip
- Ensure the TV back surface is clean and dry.
- There are two models of Video Sync TV light Strips, suitable for the TV size below:

- Measure the mounting surface on the back of your TV and refer to the below strip recommended length by TV size.
- Use the clips to reinforce the strip at each corner of the TV.

Peel off the tape on the back of the strip and aix to the back of the TV. Please press and hold the strip to the surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Stick the light strip on a suitable TV surface (flat is preferred), The light strip can be installed in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

At corners, please bend the strip as shown below.

If the strip is too long for your TV, you can shorten the strip by cutting along the pre-marked lines with scissors.
To Shorten:

Stick the double-sided tape on the bottom of the camera.

Aux the camera to the TV frame. The camera can be placed on the top or below the TV screen.

Plug the power adapter and strip it into the ports of the camera. Manage the cables using one of the provided clips. Plugin the power adapter. Installation is finished.
Sengled Home App setup
The following instructions are applicable to adding your Smart Wi-Fi TV Light
Strip through the Sengled Home app.
If you would like to use third-party smart home services, such as
Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or would like to find our latest list of
supported third-party integrations, please refer to
support.sengled.com
Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi router that you would
like to set up the smart Wi-Fi TV Light Strip using a 2.4 GHz connection.

Download the latest version of the Sengled Home App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Register and sign in to your Sengled account in the app.

Open the Sengled Home app. Go to Devices, select the + sign, and choose Wi-Fi LEDs and Accessories.
Follow in-app instructions to finish the setup.
1. Confirm where the camera is installed, top or bottom.
2. Confirm which direction light strip is installed.
3. Calibrating the camera
Drag the top-center or bottom-center circle to the top or bottom center of the TV screen.
Drag other circles to the four corners of the TV screen. -
If the app unsuccessfully discovers the TV Light Strip, please refer to the next section “Reset Instructions” for how to reset your TV Light Strip before attempting to re-add it.
Reset Instructions
To reset your Smart TV Wi-Fi LED Light Strip, locate the reset button, and push and hold for at least 5 seconds. When the Light Strip is successfully reset, it will flash three times. If it does not flash, please try again. Once successfully reset, please pair the Light Strip again in your Sengled Home app.

The following section outlines some of the popular operational modes of the Sengled Smart TV Wi-Fi LED Light Strips.
A.On / Off
The TV light strip can be controlled through a variety of means:
- Through the Sengled Home app
- Through partner programs like Alexa, Google Assistant, etc.
B.Dimming
The TV light strip can be dimmed through the following:
- Through the Sengled Home app
- Through partner programs like Alexa, Google Assistant, etc.
C.Scheduling
Schedules can be created with the Sengled Home app.
Check the in-app how-to pages through “Settings” for the following operations.
D.Voice Control
- Set up Amazon Alexa by adding Sengled Home Skill.
- Set up Google Assistant by adding Sengled Home Service.
E.Tuning Whites
Adjust whites via the white palette in the Sengled Home app, or with voice
control.
F.Changing Colors
Change between 16 million colors using the color palette in the Sengled Home
app, or with voice control.
Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the light strip not turning on?
A. Ensure the power adapter is plugged into the wall and ensure it is plugged into the camera port.
b. Ensure the LED strip is plugged into the camera port. -
Can I cut the light strip if it’s too long?
The length of the light strip can be shortened for special fitting. Once shortened, it is unable to be lengthened again. Please cut along the Cut Line (about every 10 cm). -
Could not connect to the Wi-Fi router or third-party services?
The firewall or port on your Wi-Fi router may be blocked and could prevent the Sengled Wi-Fi Light Strips from connecting to the Sengled cloud. A Sengled Home account is required to access third-party services that utilize the Sengled cloud.
Please open Port 1883 and 8883 on your Wi-Fi router to ensure connectivity. If your router is preventing access, you will need to enable access to these ports.
