The signal light on the remote and the Red LED on the board turn on when the binding succeeds.
Note: When using a new remote and a new board, there is no need to press either the Power button on the board or the Button A on the remote, they enter into the binding mode when they are turned on.

Battery Indicator

Remote Power indicator (a single light)
When the remote is turned on, if it detects the power is less then 25%, which can barely support a one-hour operation, the Remote power light turns Red; if the power is more than 25%, which can support operation of at least one hour, the Remote Power light will be green. If there is only 5 of power, which can only support a 15-minute operation, the remote will vibrate a double, long vibration (vibrate for 0,5 seconds, pause for 0,5 seconds and then vibrate again for 0,5 seconds) and starts to flash Red slowly (once a second); if there is only 2,5% of power left, the remote will vibrate a double, long- vibration again as the same as previous and starts to flash Red light slowly; and if the power is below the regulated value (3,4 V) for safe use and use and the boards stops. The remote will vibrate a short vibration and turn off automatically.

Board power indicator (4 lights in a row)
One light turns on to indicate that 25% of power is left, one light flashes to indicate that 12.5% of power is left. For example, if the power is from 62.5% to 75%, the lights will be “ ” if the power is from 50%-62.5%, the lights will be “ ”; if the power is below 25%, the remote will vibrate a double, long vibration and the lights will be in “ ”; if the power is below 12.5%, the remote will vibrate a double, long vibration and the lights will be “ ”; and if the voltage goes below the safety value, the power output will be stopped. For this situation, you have to stop using as soon as possible.

Notes: the remote will display the power of the remote and the board for 2 seconds and then stop when it’s powered on and connected to the board. Press the Button A at any time can re-trigger the display of the power of the remote and the board. the remote only displays the power of the remote when the board is not connected (to the remote).
Attention: means “solid”; means “flash”; means “die out”.

Accelerograph and brakes

User can move the “throttle scroll wheel” forward to speed up and move it backward to brake.

Notes: Do not move the “throttle scroll wheel” when pressing the Button A (Power Switch). If you see the four LEDs (on the remote) flash in the following way: then please check if the “throttle scroll wheel” is at the neutral/zero throttle position.

Switch of direction
When the board is moving forward, if the user moves the button C backward, the remote will vibrate a single, short vibration (0.1 second), the four LEDs will flash one by one from front to back to indicate the “Backward mode”. When the board is moving backward, if the user moves the button C forward, the remote will vibrate a single, short vibration, the four LEDs will flash one by one from back to front to indicate the “Forward mode”.

Note: this operation effects only when the “throttle scroll wheel” is at the neutral position.

Switch of Gear
The Button B on the remote (as shown in the picture) is for changing gears. In general, there are three gears available: 1st gear & 2nd gear & 3rd gear. When in 1st gear, if press the Button B, the remote will vibrate a single, short vibration, the four board power LEDs will flash one by one (from one end to the other end) rapidly to indicate that the board is in 2nd gear now. When in 2nd gear, if press the Button B, the remote will vibrate a single, short vibration, the four board power LEDs will flash one by one (from one end to the other end) slowly to indicate that the board is in 3rd gear now. When in 2nd gear, if press the Button B, the remote will vibrate a single, short vibration, the four board power LEDs will flash one by one (from one end to the other end) slowly to indicate that the board is in 1st gear now.
Note: this operation effects only when the “throttle scroll wheel” is at the neutral position. The specific gear and speed can be adjusted by the specific ESC the user uses.

Charging
Charging the remote: the remote vibrates once after It’s connected to a power supply via the charging cable and the remote power LED comes on Red and turns to Green when it’s fully charged.
Note: the remote cannot be used during the charging, it vibrates a single, short vibration and powers off automatically after removing the charging cable.
Charging the board battery: with the board powered off, connect it to a power supply via the charger/adapter, it automatically enters the charging mode, and the four Red board power LEDs come on; with the board powered on, connect it to a power supply (via the charger/adapter), it enters the charging mode and the four Red board power LEDs lighting up. The board will automatically turn off after removing the charger/adapter.

Note: During charging, the board is not connected to the remote or it doesn’t function even if it’s connected to the remote. In other words, the motor & ESC on the board stop functioning during the process.

Fault Warning

Lower Battery Warning
When the remote power is only 5% (for a 15-minute operation), the remote will vibrate a double, long vibration and the remote power indicator (a LED) will flash Red rapidly; when the power is only 2.5%, the remote will vibrate a double, long vibration again, and the LED flashes Red rapidly; and when the voltage goes below the regulated value (3.4V) and the speed of the skateboard is below 3km/h for safe use, the remote will automatically turn off. When the board power is below 25%, the remote will vibrate a double, long vibration and the board power indicator (4 LEDs) will display in this way “”; when the power is below 12.5%, the remote will vibrate a double, long vibration and the 4 LEDs will display in this way “”; and when the voltage goes below the regulated value for safe use, then there will be no more throttle output and the throttle value will be automatically and slowly reduced to zero(the process will take no more than 3 seconds). At this time, any throttle input will not take effect, only brake input works and you can brake manually. Note: It’s better to stop using and charge the corresponding device when the warning (due to low remote power or board power) is given for the first time. Otherwise, the LIPO battery will be damaged due to over-discharge.

Signal Loss
The remote will vibrate once when losing signals for 0.2 seconds, if the board is during acceleration, the “throttle scroll wheel” will be back to the neutral position immediately and automatically, and then brake slowly and automatically; if the board is during braking, then it will slowly Increase or decrease to a fixed brake force. The remote will enter the searching board mode when signals are lost, it will vibrate once and stop braking slowly when it finds one and re-connects to the one successfully, the board can only resume normal operation after moving the “throttle scroll wheel” to the neutral position.

Motor Lock-up
When the motors are locked up or stuck, the remote will keep vibrating intermittently and the board power indicator (4 LEDs) will intermittently flash in this way …. In that case, please stop running the board and check if the motor(s) are stuck by foreign objects, remove the object immediately and then run the board.

Overheat
When the operating temperature of the ESC/motors Is above 100°C or below 0°C, the remote will vibrate once and the board power indicator (4 LEDs) will intermittently flash in this way the motor will operate with a reduced power (about 25% throttle).

Note: The user needs to pay attention to the ESC & motor temperatures. When the operating temperature of the ESC/motors Is high, rider needs to find reason, and use the skateboard only until problems solved.

Short-circuit
When the ESC detects an ESC or motor short-circuit issue, the remote signal LED will flash intermittently in this way … the motor will stop operating.
Note: Power off the board and then turn it on, use it after the problem is solved.

Overcharge (when going downhill with a fully charged battery)
In principle, going downhill with a fully charged battery is prohibited, because the battery will be charged when braking during the going-downhill process, so going downhill with a fully charged can shorten the service life of the board battery or even cause accidents like an explosion and fire. The user needs to consume some power before going downhill. If some user violates the rule and goes downhill with a fully charged battery, the remote will vibrate and the board power Indicator flashes In this way when ESC detects the battery voltage is too high. If the user continues to go downhill, the board will brake automatically to prevent user from doing that. This method can only protect the battery to a limited extent and cannot 100% guarantee for the battery safety.

Riding the Three-Wheel Electric Skateboard

Preparations
Choose an empty flat field, both indoor and outdoor are available, not smooth, and slippery ground, no motor vehicles, bicycles, pets, children, or other objects that will lead to distraction.
You need to read this manual, familiar with the safety standards and cautions before riding this skateboard.
Wear helmet and other protective equipment to avoid possible injuries.
Move the Skateboard to the centre of the field.

Start up Your Skateboard
Press the power button of the front of the skateboard to start, indicator light begins to flash, and then press the power button of the remote control, the indicator light is always being on means It Is successful to start.

Warning:
If this is your first-time play skateboard, don’t get on the skateboard in a rush, following steps below to assure your safety.

Precautions Before Riding
After power on, get familiar with the basic functions of the remote control before play skateboard. Familiarity with go forward, brake, switch shift, and battery indicating function, adjust the remote controller to the low speed and ready to get on the skateboard.
If the power is turn off, you can only use it as unpowered skateboard.

Riding the Skateboard
The beginner can use the remote-control brake function to keep skateboard in brake position, move body’s centre of gravity on the foot and lift the other foot on the pedal slowly (imagine you step on the steps).

Tips:
Stay relaxed, most beginners take only 3 minutes to learn how to control this skateboard. Imagine the skateboard pedal is flat ground. When adapted, your body can stand steadily.

Move Forward and Backward

Lean your body forward slowly and use remote control to slowly accelerate, feel the skateboard moving forward, then return to original state and feel the skateboard decelerating and stopping.
Be careful not to crash into the wall or barrier to avoid falling. You should go forward/backward step by step and practice several times to accustomed to your gravity to control the skateboard’s turning.

Danger:
Your movement should be slow and gentle. The more relax of your body, the less shake will be occurred. Drastically back and forth movement is very dangerous and it will cause skateboard out of control easily.
Backward riding is not a proper way to riding skateboard. Do not backward riding unless people do not stand on it.

Stop and Brake Skateboard
Moving your body gravity toward the opposite direction of skateboard can make it stop. When you are going forward, pull hips back gently (imagine that you are ready to sit down).
Designated a spot, stop on the spot, and keep stable. Practice several times.

Warning
Stop your skateboard in a gradual way, brake at high speed as less as possible. When riding at high speed, the sudden braking distance of skateboard depends on adjusting speed of your body posture. Make your deceleration in advance.
Keep away from slippery roads when accelerating or parking. Sudden acceleration on a slippery road surface or emergency braking may lead to a skid, even a fall or body injury!

Skateboard Turning
The skateboard will turn in the direction of rider’s centre of gravity. The left or right tilting of body’s centre of gravity will enable the skateboard to turn in the corresponding direction.
Make turning while riding. Decelerate and keep the knees bent slightly, and tilt towards the direction of the body’s centre of gravity, master this skill by practice.

Danger
It’s very dangerous to turn too fast, slow down when turning, tilt your body In the direction of turning, It helps to enhance the stability of the turn.

Get off the Skateboard
When the electric skateboard has stopped, get off with one foot at a time, and then, another foot gets off from the board (similar to the process of reversing a stair).
Danger: Beginner can use the brake function on remote control to get off the skateboard.

Daily Maintenance

Cleaning and Storage

  • Please clean the skateboard after use. Before cleaning, ensure that the skateboard is power off, and the charging cable is pull out and covered by rubber cap. Otherwise it may have serious fault cause by short circuit!
  • You can wipe the skateboard by soft cloth with water.
  • Household shower and gardening nozzle are allowed to flush the tyres and fenders, the skateboard should be dry and placed in a ventilated place as soon as possible after flushing. It is strictly prohibited for cleaning the skateboard body by directly scouring by watercannon or being soaked in water for the whole machine, otherwise it may cause serious problems beyond repair.
  • When not be in use, store in shady and dry place, if possible, don’t store it in the outdoor for long time. Sunlight and extremely hot/cold environment will accelerate aging of appearance.
  • This product cannot be casually discarded, should be Classified collection special processing.

Screws Checking
All the screws in skateboard have passed locking processing, they are not easy to lose. But for security, please check the hubs, battery. pack, fenders, pedal and dashboard etc. Sway components gently by hands, observe whether components shake or make loose sound. If they are loose, please tighten them.

Battery Maintenance and Transportation

In order to extend the battery life to the furthest, please check and maintain regularly as following tips:

  1. Please read the notes about battery pack and comply with them.
  2. Please store the skateboard at 0°°C~40°C room temperature and in a dry environment. Please avoid using or storing it at below 20°C or above 60°C environment, otherwise the battery life will be influenced. In extreme wet circumstances, it may have dew even water in the battery pack, it may damage battery quickly.
  3.  In daily use, avoid recharging battery run out of power completely. If the status dashboard indicates in low battery power, please charge your skateboard as soon as possible. Try to charge after each use. Keeping In nearly run-out state for a long time will seriously affect battery capacity and service life.
  4. If the battery was installed on the skateboard, the remote-control receiver in the skateboard will continuously consume power. It will run out the stored power after keeping on standby for 90 ~ 100 days. If the battery which nearly run out installed on the skateboard, it will run out after keeping on standby for 10~20 days. At this time if not charging in time, it will soon discharge excessively and damage the battery. The damage is unrecoverable and is not in the scope of the warranty.

Therefore:

  • For short time without using (less than 90 days), you should charge the battery up to 100% as possible and store in shady and dry place.
  • If you will store the battery separately for long time (more than 90 days), please charge the battery up to 100% every 2~3 months to remain the battery capacity and service life.
  • The battery equipped with a safety lithium-ion battery core and multiple protection function circuit board, has passed the UN38.3 air transport certification and 1.2M drop test certification. Normal use even collision will not cause battery fire or explosion. But for security, do not penetrate the battery pack with sharp object, smash it with heavy objects, or put it into fire or natural water which will cause dangers or environmental pollution.
  • Most airlines and express companies such as UPS, DHL and TNT can deliver such battery pack by air on the condition that show them with legal UN38.3 test report and other required test certifications. However, we can’t grantee that all the express companies agree to carry the battery pack considering the change of air transportation rules and different security policies of different countries, airlines and airports.
