General Instructions
PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE
THE FIRST USE.
Misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use
the appliance for the use for which it is designed; we refuse any
responsibility as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.
- This appliance is exclusively intended for a domestic use. Any other use is excluded. Do not use outside.
- Check that your main voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
- Always connect your appliance on a wall socket connected with the earth.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and use maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
- Do not leave unsupervised appliance when it is connected.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).
- Do not pass the cord over objects with sharp edges and keep it at a distance from, hot objects and bare flames. Always pull on the plug to disconnect it from the feed source.
- Never immerse the base of your appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
- Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when you do not use it and when you clean it.
- Never try to open the casing yourself.
- Do not use the appliance if your hands are damp if the oil is wet, or if the appliance itself is damp.
- Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
- Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
- Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timer or separate remote control system.
- It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
- Never carry the appliance while still hot.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
- Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact with food or oil, thanks to refer to the below paragraph “cleaning” in manual.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments
- farmhouses
- by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential-type environments
- bed and breakfast-type environments
- Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician

USE OF THE APPLIANCE
Before first use, remove all packaging and wipe the cooking plate with a damp cloth, then dry it, spread a teaspoon of oil and wipe the excess.
- Insert the flex cable into the appliance and the plug into a power outlet.
- Wait for 8 minutes to preheat the cooking plate. It may have a little smoke and odor, it is normal for first use.
- You can put a small amount of butter onto the cooking plate and spread it.
- Put small quantity of crepe batter on cooking plate round circle (measure according to the desired thickness: full quantity for pancake, less quantity for crepes or wraps) then add the topping of your choice.
- Cook the crepes 2 minutes on each face lift (longer for pancakes, blinis) until just golden. To turn over the crepe, use a spatula.
- Note: never rest plastic or wooden spatula on hot plate to avoid damage.
- Once cooked, remove the crepe of the plate. After use, unplug the appliance. Allow the appliance to cool then clean before storing.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution:
Do not use wire brush or any abrasive items or liquids to clean the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance and ensure that the appliance has completely cooled down.
- Clean the baking plate with sponge.
- Use damp cloth to clean the appliance base.
