RME-ADI-2-Pro-2-Channel-High-End-Converter-PRODUCT

Product Information

The ADI-2 Pro is a high-quality audio interface that offers quick, easy, and intuitive operation. It has three hi-precision rotary encoders with push function, four buttons, a standby power button, a high-resolution IPS display, and two TRS headphone outputs. The interface comes with Basic Mode Auto activated, which allows it to automatically reconfigure itself depending on the connected cables.

Product Usage Instructions

General – First-Time Operation

To power on the unit, connect it to the included power supply and push the Standby button. Use PH 3/4 for headphones instead of
PH 1/2. If necessary, push the Volume knob to change between 1/2 and 3/4. The marker in the status bar indicates the selected outputs.

Parametric EQ – Quick Control

To select the desired channels, turn the upper encoder and push the button. Push the lower encoder once so that the parameter values below the frequency diagram turn white. The Gain control is used to control the gain, while the Frequency and Quality controls are used to control the frequency and quality factor. Push the Frequency and Quality controls to switch between peak, shelf, and hi/lo pass modes for bands 1 and 5.

Auto Mode

The ADI-2 Pro ships with Basic Mode Auto activated. In this mode, the unit will automatically reconfigure itself depending on the connected cables, offering quick, easy, and intuitive operation. To manually select a mode, push SETUP and turn the encoder to access Device Modes.

Menu Operations

To bring up an extended volume screen with balance control, push the VOL key. Pushing the VOL key a second time brings up the linked screen, showing both volume settings at the same time, where VOLUME changes both volumes simultaneously. Pushing the VOL key a third time reverts to the level meter screen that has been active before. The I/O menu has all the settings for the three analog stereo I/Os Analog Input, Main Output 1/2, and Phones Out 3/4. The submenu Parametric EQ mirrors the settings done in the graphical EQ screen. The submenus Bass/Treble and Loudness as well as some Phase functions are only found on the two analog stereo outputs. Turn the encoder to access Settings, Parametric EQ, Bass/Treble, and Loudness. On the top level, turn the encoder to change between Analog Input, Main Output 1/2, and Phones Out 3/4. Turning the encoder will scroll through all 5 bands, as can be seen in the parameter line.
To access Hardware/Diagnosis, Device Mode, and Clock, turn the encoder in the Setup menu.

Connectors and Controls

The ADI-2 Pro has three hi-precision rotary encoders with a push function, four buttons, a standby power button, a high-resolution IPS display, and two TRS headphone outputs.
