FoodSaver FS1000 Series Multi-Use Handheld Vacuum Cleaner
Product Information
The FS1000 is a vacuum sealer that allows you to vacuum seal zipper bags,
preserve containers and marinate containers to keep your food fresh longer.
The vacuum sealer comes with a handheld device that you can use to remove air
from the bags and containers.
The vacuum sealer has easy-open tabs, which allow you to release the vacuum
seal quickly.
How to Vacuum Seal Zipper Bags
- Place the zipper bag flat with the gray circle facing upwards
- Slide your fingers across the zipper to close the bag
- Place the handheld device firmly over the gray circle on the zipper bag
- Press and release the vacuum button on the handheld device
- To open and release the vacuum, turn the valve to the marinate/open position and use the easy-open tabs to open the bag
How to Vacuum Seal Preserve & Marinate Containers
- Place the handheld device firmly on the green valve of the container
- Press and release the vacuum button on the handheld device
- The indicator dimple on the container will depress, showing that air is being removed
- To open and release the vacuum, turn the valve to the marinate/open position and use the easy-open tabs to open the container
