Product Name: JCD-LW1-TY Wireless Wi-Fi Module Product Functionality: The module allows common RF motors to connect to a local network, making them compatible with nearby smart speakers and other devices. It can be integrated with various smart home platforms such as Xiaomi, Mall, and Alexa.
Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Complete account registration and login to the app ‘Add Device’.
Step 2: Wait for 10 seconds to check if the indicator is blinking.
Step 3: Ensure that the Wi-Fi module and smartphone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The smartphone should be connected to Wi-Fi and have Bluetooth turned on.
Step 4: If the indicator did not blink, try the following methods:
- Method 1: Long press the RESET button until the indicator blinks, and the motor is ready for Wi-Fi connection.
- Method 2: Short press the Prg button on the back of the controller, then short press Down and Up. The motor jogs once, and the blue indicator blinks, indicating that the motor is ready for Wi-Fi connection.
Step 5: Click ‘Next’ when you find the device, enter the Wi-Fi account password, and click ‘Confirm’ to connect.
Step 6: The Wi-Fi module indicator will remain on after successful network connection.

Application
This module equips those common RF motors with the capacity to connect to the local network, enabling them to work with nearby smart speakers and other devices. The Wi-Fi module can converse with various smart home platforms, including Xiaomi, Tmall, Alexa, etc.
Installation &Connecting to Wi-Fi network
*Connection requirement
Make sure the Wi-Fi module and smart phone be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The smart phone needs to connect to Wi-Fi network and turn on the Bluetooth function first.
Download App
- Search “Smart Life” in the app store or scan the following QR code
- Complete account registration and login to the app
Add Device

Power on, insert module to motor head

Wait for 10s to see if the indicator is blinking

If indicator didn’t blink, pls try:
Method 1 : Long insert RESET button until indicator blinking, motor’s ready to Wi-Fi connection
Note: You can try Method 2 if it is not easy to insert RESET on module
Method 2: Short Press Prg on back of controller, motor jogs once; short
press Down, motor jogs once, then short press UP, motor jogs once and blue
indicator blinks which means motor enters Wi-Fi connection status.

Click”+’ in the upper right comer of the APP, then click “Auto Scan”, the APP will automatically search for tubular motor

Click “Next” when you find the device, enter the Wi-Fi account password and click “Confirm” to connect.

After adding device successfully, tap “L’ after the device name to modify the device name.

The Wi-Fi module indicator is always on after successful network connection.

Enter the main interface to control the operation of the roller shade.
