Installation instruction

Chosse mounting location ensuring there is enough space behind mounting surface.

Use the template to mark cut lines and drill pilot holes.

cut holes using template and jigsaw.

peel backing off 3M gasket.

Secure with x4 No6. (3.5mn)x 3/4 (19mm) self tapping CSK Philips screws provided. add silicone sealonetto screw holes.

Connect to 12/24V supply .Fuse and select cable diameter according to input voltage and current.

WARNING:
This product is to be connected o a 12V DC or 24V dc battery power source only
the power supply mus be switched off before installation .
An appropriate fuse or circut breaker must be used between the battery / power source and this product . Check for correct polarity of all wiring before swiching the power on.,
This producty may contain high voltages do not temper with the produc.
This product is NOT approved for use in hazardous / flammabel atmosphere e.g engin room .
Before drilling any holes , ensure the area behind ther mounting location is clear of wires , fuel , and all other hazardous objects.
Ensure any holes cut will not significantly weaken the structure of the mouting surface.
if the product needs to be mounted outside . it must be mounted in a location safely above the waterline, where it is not of being submerged.
The product is designed specifiically for the charging of Magsafe compatible device.
The cable must be retained and no interfere with mechanical system.
This product contain no user serviceable components. Do NOT attempt to repair or alert the product in any way.
This product will charge only with Magsafe compatible cases. Phones cases may or alter over all charge performance.
When used in a very high/low ambient temperture/direct or prolonged sunlight the product may temporanily shutdown,this is a safetly feature of the electronics.
The IP rating is only valid if correctly installed as per these instructons and on a perfectly fla, non-porous, smooth surface.
When selecting a mounting loction, avoid places exposed to heat -raditaing appliances and poorly ventoleted areas.
EMC INSTALLTION GUIDELINE
Scanstrut products conform to Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) regulations,
to ensure that electromagnetic interference between equipment is miniised.
Correct installtion is required to ensure that electromagnetic interferencesis kept to a minmum.
WIRING
When extending the cable from battery/power source to the product, ensure
there is consistently a minmum of 10v being provided to the product. A wire
gaguge of 18 AW(0.82mm2) is recommended for any length of extension.
The electric schematic is to illustrate how the product should be connected to a 12v DC battery/power supply.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Waste eletrical product should not be dispose of with household waste. please
recycle where facilities exsist. Check with your local Authourity or retailer
for recycling advice.

A 2 years , non-transferable warrenty covers this Scanstruct product only and
not any decives that are mounted in it or on it. No warrenty is given for
users’devices and users exposes their devices to hazards, known or unknown, at
their own risk.
