Weller® connects

The digital transformation is in full swing. Mobile and cloud computing, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and machine learning are transforming our work environment enormously. To keep pace with these technical advances and our customers’ demands, Weller has designed the Weller Smart Workbench, a process by which data from your soldering processes can be collected and stored in the cloud for future use.
Your opinion is important to us – we desire to meet your requirements as precisely as possible.
However we have not abandoned traditional means of connectivity. We still offer cables to connect our devices: fume extraction units to soldering stations, soldering stations to tools, or just tools to a wall socket. Whether station or cabled tool, with our rapid heat up up and ease of use you can just plug it in and start soldering.

Weller Connects the Bench - Design study

Design study: Weller Smart Workbench

What has been controlled manually and by cable is becoming digitized. Weller has long been able to exchange data from fume extraction systems with soldering stations or traceability systems.
So what’s next?
Introducing the Weller Smart Workbench
Cloud-based data exchange between workbench and central input devices.

  • Central operation
  • Set-up times, personnel and cost savings
  • Connection of up to 10 tools
  • Quality assurance through uniformity and error prevention: the input, the parameters, the control
  • Visualization of the soldering processes and their parameters
  • Data storage via cloud, analyses, evaluations, conclusions, as well as complete integration into existing traceability systems
  • Recognition of the required consumable material and automatic triggering of the reordering process (filter, tip)
  • Easy-to-use software for easy operation
  • Not for sale

Weller platforms

Weller offers customized soldering solutions. If a solution is not immediately available for a unique customer challenge, the developers in our competency center relish the opportunity to develop, test, and present the best possible solution.
To help you better understand our wide product portfolio, we have segmented our products into 3 categories: the Performance Line, featuring our premiere professional soldering equipment; the Technology Line, setting a new standard for soldering; and the always reliable and cost-saving Efficiency Line.
This overview will help you find the right tool for your needs.
