Introduction
- This product is used for measuring moisture content in wood, paper, cardboard and hardened building structures(plaster, concrete or mortar). the moisture level in sawn timber (also cardboard, paper) and hardened materials (plaster, concrete and mortar).
- It displays the moisture level in the material immediately.

Measuring
-
Press and hold the on/off button for 2 seconds to switch on the meter
Remove the cap from the top side. -
Press the measuring electrodes as far as possible into the material.

Always measure the moisture in the wood perpendicular to the fibre structure.

Repeated measuring yields representative measured data.
Once the measurement is finished, press the ON/OFF Button for abort 2 seconds and the instrument switches itself off.
The Mode of Instrument
This instrument has automatic power-off (about 2 minutes) function, when the
user holding the ON/OFF Button after abort 2 seconds, the instrument will
enter the mode which will cancel the automatic shutdown function
automatically, at this mode, the instrument will shut down automatically when
the user do not any operating in about 2 minutes.
When the user through holding the MODE Button, then press the ON/OFF Button,
the instrument will enter the mode which will cancel the automatic shutdown
function, the instrument will work all the time until the user to turn it off.
Temperature Display
0-50 Celsius; 32-122 Fahrenheit
Note: Characteristics due to growth or type of wood and deviating wood
temperatures may make it necessary to correct the displayed values.
Measurements should be carried out according to the drying and
weighing/calcium carbide method in the case of inspections or for reference
purposes.
ON/OFF Button
Long press (2 seconds) to select on/off function, short press for
opening/closing backlight function.
Maintenance
- Always keep instrument dry.
- Prevent dirt from getting in between the measuring electrodes.
Changing the Battery
- When the batteries become exhausted or drop below the operating voltage, the battery warning symbol will appear in the LCD display, the battery should be replaced.
- Remove the battery housing, Change battery.
- Observe polarization, Reconnect instrument.
