Product Information
The product is a 2×4 UVC plasma flat panel with model number 559041110 and part number SAFP-24-LB4-8-CP4-MV-LVD. The package contains a fixture, two UVC lamps, and five wire connectors. The product is designed to be mounted at least 2.3 meters above the floor. Hardware kits for surface mounting and suspension mounting are sold as separate accessories.
Product Usage Instructions
Before starting the installation, shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel and remove the old fixture, ballast, or fluorescent tubes. It is recommended to contact a qualified electrician if you are unfamiliar with electrical installations. Two people are recommended for the installation of this light fixture.
To install the product, follow these steps:
- Select a suitable location that can support the weight of the fixture. Determine the method of mounting before beginning installation.
- Open the package and remove the EPE foam, then take out the UVC lamps.
- Slightly press the small cover with the finger, and remove the screw with the screwdriver, then open the small cover.
- Keep the small cover at 90 degree to the front panel. Grab the edge of the front panel with your fingers, and then slightly pull out the front panel.
- Open the front panel, unplug the ground wire between the front panel and fixture from the connector terminal, then take down the safety rope.
- Hold the end of the UVC lamp, and press the lamp socket onto the clips of the base. Push in the direction as shown, make the distance of the two clips bigger, and then hold the lamp socket.
- Rotate the UVC lamps in the direction of the arrow. Slightly push it into the clip.
- Install the safety rope and the front panel, then connect the ground wire. Open the small cover and keep it at 90 degrees to the fixture surface. Install the front panel to the fixture and check if tighten, use the screw to lock the small cover by a screwdriver.
- Shut off power at the electrical panel before beginning the installation.
- Remove existing fixtures and set aside to recycle in accordance with local requirements.
- Remove the driver box cover plate and punch out the knock-out hole.
- Make electrical connections according to local regulations and standards.
It is important to note that the installer is responsible for verifying safe ozone concentrations by taking into account the number of products in a given volume of space, the characteristics of the ventilation system, access, and other factors. Also, dispose of used products according to local regulations.

INSTALLATION
NOTICE: Select a suitable location that can support the weight of the
fixture. Determine the method of mounting before beginning installation.
CAUTION: Installer is responsible to ensure grid location is rated for
fixture weight prior to installation. If uncertain, use cable to support
fixture from the retention clips to a suitable support structure. Failure to
do so can cause serious injury.

Open the package and remove the EPE foam, then take out the UVC lamps.

Slightly press the small cover with the finger, and remove the screw with the screwdriver, then open the small cover.

Keep the small cover at 90 degree to the front panel. Grab the edge of the front panel with your fingers, and then slightly pull out the front panel.

Open the front panel, unplug the ground wire between the front panel and fixure from the connector terminal, then take down the safety rope.

Hold the end of the UVC lamp, press the lamp socket onto the clips of the base. Push in the direction as shown, make the distance of two clips bigger, and then hold the lamp socket.

Rotate the UVC lamps in the direction as arrow. Slightly push it into the clip.

Install the safety rope and the front panel, then connect the ground wire. Open the small cover and keep it at 90 degree to the fixture surface. Install the front panel to the fixture and check if tighten, use the screw to lock the small cover by a screwdriver.

Shut off power at the electrical panel before beginning the installation.

Remove existing fixture and set aside to recycle in accordance with local requirements.
- MAKING ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

Remove the driver box cover plate and punch out the knock out hole.

Feed the conduit or Romex (based on local electrical code) through the knock out hole.
NOTE: It’s recommended to use 16GA pigtails from the terminal block to the respective power supply wires. Must add pigtail or jumper wires into the ACL and ACN terminal to use a wire larger than 16AWG for both AC and Neutral Line. -
Make the electrical connections: Connect black (L) wire with black wire in the driver. Connect white (N) wire with white wire in the driver. Connect ground wire with green wire in the driver. If a 0-10v dimming circuit is available, connect the fixture purple wire to driver DIM+ and the pink fixture wire to driver DIM-.

Tuck wires inside the driver box and reattach the driver cover.
- GRID CEILING INSTALLATION

Bend each of the mounting clips on the back of the fixture upward and then twist the top 90°.
SUSPENSION MOUNTING
- Depending on the mounting location, install 8 toggle bolts into drywall or 8 hook screws into wood.
- NOTICE: Toggle bolts are not considered an acceptable means of support in Canada, in accordance with CSA C22.2 No. 250.4.
- NOTICE: There are many installation applications to suspension mount the fixture. Installer is responsible to ensure mounting accessories and hardware are compatible with the attachment method to surface or structure in accordance with any local code requirements for installation and inspection. Attach the aircraft cable to the toggle bolts or hook screws.
- Bend each of the mounting clips on the back of the fixture upward. Connect the mounting clips to the aircraft cables by using S hooks. Adjust the aircraft cables to level the fixture.
- NOTICE: The LED flat panel must hang a minimum of 3 in. from the ceiling.
- Make the electrical connections. See Making Electrical Connections.
- Restore power at the electrical panel.
- Turn on the light switch to activate the fixture.
ADJUSTING THE COLOR TEMPERATURE AND BRIGHTNESS OF THE LIGHT:
- This fixture allows you to customize the color temperature of the light using four settings from soft white to daylight.
- Choose your favorite correlated color temperature (CCT) from four options: 3000K soft white, 3500K neutral white, 4000K cool white, or 5000K daylight.
- Move the toggle switch on the back side of the fixture to make your selection before inserting the fixture into the ceiling.
- NOTE: The factory setting for the correlated color temperature (CCT) is 4000K, which is cool white.
- Choose the desired brightness (lumen output) from four options: 4375lm, 5000lm, 5625lm, and 6250lm.
- Move the toggle switch on the back of the fixture to make your selection before pushing the fixture into the ceiling.
- NOTE: The factory setting for the brightness (lumen output) is 6250lm.
SELECTING WORKING MODE
- This fixture allows you to choose between three working modes by using your wall switch and flipping it on/off/on within 3 seconds.
- TO TURN ON WHOLE SYSTEM: Turn on the light switch to activate the light fixture with green indicator light and disinfection mode.
- TO TURN ON DISINFECTION MODE ONLY : Turn off the main downlight by the wall switch, and turn it back on within 3 seconds to activate the disinfection-only mode.
- TO TURN ON THE MAIN LIGHT : Turn off the main light by the wall switch, and turn it back on within 3 seconds to activate the main light-only mode.
CLEANING THE FILTER
- When the air volume is reduced, remove the filter to clean it.
- Press the small cover slightly with the finger.
- Use a cross-head screwdriver and remove the screws in the small square groove.
- Keep the small cover at 90 degrees to the panel, pull the back of the small cover, and then pull out the front panel.
- Unplug the ground wire between the front panel and fixture from the connector terminal, then take down the safety rope.
- Remove the filter from the front panel and then pull it back.
REPLACE THE UVC LAMP
- Slightly pull out the UVC lamps from the clip, and rotate the UVC lamps in the direction of a row till it’s vertical to the fixture. Hold the end of the UVC lamps and then take it out from the lamp holder. Install the new UVC lamps according to above step 5.
- After replacing, install the safety rope and the front panel, then connect the ground wire. Open the small cover and keep it at 90 degrees to the fixture surface. Install the front panel to the fixture and check if tighten, use the screw to lock the small cover with a screwdriver.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be
followed including the following:

- a) This equipment is designed for use with germicidal UV radiation sources and must be installed in compliance with competent technical directions to prevent risk of personal injury from UV radiation.
- b) UV radiation can pose a risk of personal injury. Overexposure can result in damage to the eyes and bare skin. To reduce the risk of overexposure this equipment must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s site planning recommendations. This may include instructions on the relative location of each germicidal system component, the minimum distances between UV generating devices and other objects or surfaces, and protection from line-of-sight exposure to UV radiation in occupied spaces located above the equipment mounting area (e.g. upper floor balconies, open staircases, etc.)
- c) UV and optical radiation can be reflected by surrounding surfaces such as ceilings and walls. Since the reflective properties of surfaces can vary widely, it should be considered as part of site planning. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for selecting appropriate ceiling and wall finishes.
- d) IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTALLER TO ENSURE THAT PERSONS WILL NOT BE EXPOSED TO EXCESSIVE UV OR OPTICAL RADIATION DURING EQUIPMENT OPERATION. THIS WILL REQUIRE THE INSTALLER TO CONDUCT AN ASSESSMENT OF IRRANDIANCE OR ILLUMINANCE LEVELS IN THE SURROUNDING OCCUPIED SPACES PRIOR TO OCCUPANCY.
- e) Equipment should be mounted in locations and at heights where it will not readily be subjected to tampering by unauthorized personnel.
- f) Maintenance and servicing of this UV-generating equipment shall be performed by authorized personnel. Service personnel must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if the equipment will be in operation during the maintenance or servicing work. Contact the equipment manufacturer for PPE recommendations and guidance.
- g) When replacing UV lamps, use only the model ZW100D15W-U610G1-2G11 Foshan Youweishi Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.
- h ) The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
- i) Do not use this equipment for other than intended use.
