It is approved according to UN Regulation No. 129, for use in i-Size compatible vehicle seating positions as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in the vehicle user manual.   • THIS PRODUCT IS SUITABLE FOR A CHILD MEASURING 40CM TO 85CM.
  • DURING EVERYDAY USE OF THE VEHICLE, ENSURE THAT
  • NO PARTS OF THE SEAT BELT OR CHILD SEAT CAN BECOME TWISTED OR TRAPPED BY A MOVABLE SEAT OR IN A DOOR OF THE VEHICLE.
  • NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED IN THE INFANT CARRIER.
  • ENSURE ALL LOCKING DEVICES ARE ENGAGED BEFORE USE AND THAT ALL STRAPS AND HARNESSES ARE TIGHT WITH NO TWISTS.
  • DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD PLAY WITH THIS PRODUCT.
  • ALWAYS PLACE THE INFANT CARRIER ON A LEVEL FLOOR SURFACE AND THE HANDLE IN THE STABLE POSITION WHEN PLACING OR
  • REMOVING THE CHILD. (SEE 6.1 & 8.1)
  • DO NOT USE ON A PASSENGER SEAT FITTED WITH ACTIVATED FRONTAL AIRBAG.(SEE 9.1 & 13.1)
  • USE THE PLASTIC ISOFIX GUIDES PROVIDED WHEN NECESSARY. SILVER
  • CROSS CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE OR MARKING TO VEHICLE SEAT UPHOLSTERY. (SEE 9.2)
  • DO NOT PLACE THE FRONT SUPPORT LEG ON A FLOOR STORAGE COMPARTMENT LID. THE FRONT SUPPORT LEG MUST MAKE FULL AND FIRM CONTACT WITH THE VEHICLE FLOOR. (SEE 9.9 – 9.11)
  • THE INFANT CARRIER MUST ALWAYS BE REARWARD FACING. (SEE 13.9)
  • NEVER FIT THE INFANT CARRIER WITH A 2 POINT LAP BELT.
  • DO NOT POSITION THE INFANT CARRIER TOO UPRIGHT. (SEE 13.11 & 13.12)
  • THE CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM SHOULD BE REPLACED AFTER AN ACCIDENT, EVEN IF THERE ARE NO VISIBLE SIGNS OF DAMAGE. THE PRODUCT MAY HAVE UNSEEN INTERNAL DAMAGE THAT COULD COMPROMISE THE CHILD’S SAFETY.
  • THE COVER & CHEST PADS ARE TO BE FITTED AT ALL TIMES. THEY ARE AN IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURE.
  • ONLY REPLACEMENT PARTS SUPPLIED/RECOMMENDED BY SILVER CROSS SHALL BE USED. ACCESSORIES WHICH ARE NOT APPROVED BY SILVER CROSS SHALL NOT BE USED.
  • DO NOT USE IF ANY PART IS BROKEN, TORN, OR MISSING.
  • DO NOT MAKE UNAUTHORIZED MODIFICATIONS OR ALTERATIONS TO THE CHILD CAR SEAT.
  • DO NOT LEAVE UNSECURED LUGGAGE OR OBJECTS ON THE PARCEL SHELF IN THE VEHICLE, BECAUSE IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT
  • THEY COULD CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY TO THE OCCUPANTS.
  • COVER THE SEAT IF IT IS LEFT IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT. PLASTIC AND METAL SURFACES GET VERY HOT AND COULD BURN. THE CAR SEAT COVER IS ALSO LIKELY TO FADE.
  • THE CHILD SHOULD BE CLEAR OF MOVING PARTS WHILST MAKING ADJUSTMENTS.
  • DO NOT CARRY MORE THAN ONE CHILD IN THIS CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM.
  • THE FABRIC COVER IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM. IT MUST NOT BE REPLACED BY A DIFFERENT COVER WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FROM THE MANUFACTURER.
  • THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
  • KEEP THE CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM AWAY FROM CORROSIVE LIQUIDS, PAINTS OR SOLVENTS THAT COULD DAMAGE THE PRODUCT.
  • ALWAYS HOLD THE INFANT CARRIER WHEN MAKING ADJUSTMENTS.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Wipe clean using mild hand soap and warm water. You must not use detergents, solvents or strong soaps. This may weaken your infant carrier shell or harness. You must not remove, dismantle or alter any part of the infant carrier shell or harness. You must not oil or lubricate any part of your infant carrier shell or harness system.
Dirt and dust within moving mechanisms may be rinsed away with clean water. Do not soak or submerge.

FABRICS

  1. The seat cover is easily removable and should be washed on a delicate cycle at 30 degrees using a mild detergent.
  2. Take out all removable internal plastic/foam parts from inside any fabrics before washing.
  3. Do not press, iron, dry clean, tumble dry or wring the covers.
  4. Do not use solvents, caustic or abrasive cleaning materials.
  5. Dry flat, away from direct heat and sunlight.
  6. If the seat covers need to be replaced only use certified parts. They are the only ones that are guaranteed to have been safety tested and designed to fit this seat.

THE FABRIC COVER IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM. IT MUST NOT BE REPLACED BY A DIFFERENT COVER WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FROM THE MANUFACTURER.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove the canopy by pressing the inner buttons at the side and lift off. Remove the insert and raise the headrest to the top position.
  2. Undo the 4 poppers on the front of the shell and the 4 at the rear of the shell. The chest pads can be removed by undoing the 2 poppers on each piece.
  3. Pull the cover down and off the canopy attachment points on both sides of the cover.
  4. Fold the cover over the top of the canopy attachment points.
  5. Pull the cover forwards directly in front of the harness adjustment button and lift over.
  6. Undo the 2 poppers on the backrest and lift the cover-up and over the headrest.
  7. Undo the poppers on the inner section of the headrest. Pull the lower section down and upwards until it comes loose from the plastic backrest Then lift upwards to remove the cover.

Washing the car seat cover

The car seat cover can be washed on a delicate cycle at 30 degrees using a mild detergent.

IMPORTANT:
Take out all removable internal foam parts from inside the insert before washing.
