SET UP PROCESS
POWER ON THE DEVICE
To power on and enjoy the Carvaan Musicbar follow the steps below:

1.  Connect the Power Adapter to the wall plug and the other end to “DC in” port on the back panel of the device
2. Switch on the power from wall plug
3. Click on the “Power• button on the top panel of the device/remote to power it on
4. Enjoy your music on the Carvaan Musicbar

Note:

1. Use supplied power adapter only
2.  The device requires to be connected to AC power with the bundled adapter at all times for operation
3. When device is powered on, the power button on the device panel is backlit in red colour
4. When the device is powered on and a mode is selected, the power button and mode button on the device are backlit in green and blue colour respectively

MODES
To choose a music mode, press the corresponding mode button on the top panel of the device/remote When the device is powered on and a mode is selected, the power button and mode button on the device are backlit in green and blue colour respectively

SAREGAMA
1000 pre-loaded evergreen songs by legends like kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi and Mukesh; this is the default mode on first power on Press ‘Next/Previous’ button for 3/4 seconds to move 10 songs Forward/Backward

FM
Listen to local FM stations. To tune to FM, press FM mode button
To auto tune FM stations, follow the steps:

• Step 1: Press play/pause button for 5 seconds
• Step 2: Searching for all FM signals will start. You will hear a searching sound and each FM station will play for approx. 3-4 seconds till all stations are tuned
• Step 3: Press next/previous button to go to next/previous station
• FM frequency: 87.5 to 108 MHZ

FM reception varies across locations and Carvaan models.
Note: It is recommended that the lose end of the connected antenna is placed near a window for improved FM reception

BLUETOOTH
Pair your mobile phone/tablet with the Carvaan Musicbar. Enjoy songs stored on your personal mobile phone/tablet on the device support for 8/Bluetooth v5. O

USB / AUX IN**

1.  Plug in a USB into the USB port on the back panel of Carvaan Musicbar to enjoy your personal collection of songs
2.  You can also connect an Aux cable in the Aux IN port on the back panel of the device to play songs from your phone/tablet
3. Press USB / AUX button on the remote to enter respective modes
4. Press the USB / Aux button on the unit to switch between respective modes

• supports USB pendrive upto 32 GB

CONNECT CARVAAN MUSICBAR TO YOUR TV

HDM*** /  CO-AXIAL
The most preferred way to connect Musicbar & TV is HDMI

• Supports HOM/ ARC only

Press the HDMI /Co-axial button on the unit to switch between HDMI and Co- axial mode
OR
Press HDMI or Co-axial mode button on the remote to activate respective modes HDMI is the default mode on first power on/ reset To connect the Carvaan Musicbar to TV via HDMI

• Press the HDMI mode button on the unit / remote
•  Plug one end of the HDMI cable to HDMI {ARC} port on the TV and the other end to the HDMI port on the back panel of the device
• Turn on the TV

In case the TV is not compatible with HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC}, connect a Co-Axial cable from the TV to the device to enjoy the TV sound output on device speakers

• Press the Co-axial mode button on the unit/ remote
•  Connect the Co-Axial cable to the back panel of device and the audio out port on TV
• Turn on the TV

Note: Your TV Audio Settings need to set to ‘External Speakers’ and disable TV speakers

FRONTVIEW

CONNECT SUBWOOFER TO CARVAAN MUSICBAR
The subwoofer comes with an attached Co-Axial cable, plug the lose end to the Co-Axial out port on the back panel of the Carvaan Musicbar

PORTS ON THE BACK PANEL REMOTE
BASS: Increase/ decrease the volume of the base/ low frequency notes
TREBLE: Increase/ decrease the volume of the treble/ high frequency notes

AUDIO MODES
To set an audio mode, press the corresponding mode button on the remote
MUSIC: Create a musical concert like experience while playing your favourite songs
MOVIE: Enjoy a true cinematic effect while watching a movie
NEWS: Hear your TV programs and news anchors – loud, crisp and clear
3D: Play games/ watch sports in a stadium like environment

HOW TO REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE
To replace the remote control battery:

1.  Open the battery compartment
2.  Insert 2 AAA batteries with the correct polarity(-/+)
3.  Close the battery compartment
4. Discard the used battery

HOW TO RESET CARVAAN MUSICBAR
If you want to reset your Carvaan Musicbar, follow the steps below:

1. Power on your Carvaan Musicbar
2. Press the Aux / USB button on the unit for 3-4 seconds
3.  Your Carvaan Musicbar is reset to its original factory settings. All Bluetooth device connections and saved FM stations will be erased

SAFETY HANDLING

1. CARE FOR PRODUCT (CARVAAN MUSICBAR & SUB WOOFER)
   

   • Keep the product away from dust and excessive heat (heat registers, stoves etc.)
   • Prevent spillage of water/any other liquid as this can cause failure of the product or could prove to be a potential fire hazard
   • Clean the unit with a dry cloth only
   • Do not walk on or pinch the power cord close to the plug
   • Do not use a different brand of power supply cable, use the bundled power supply cable only
   •  Use only the bundled subwoofer with the Carvaan Musicbar
   •  Do not use the subwoofer with any other sound bar
   •  Remove the remote battery when it is not used for longer duration
   • Do not mix different brands or types of batteries in the remote
   •  Turn off the power source when not in use

2. OTHERS

• Use attachments/accessories as specified by the manufacturer

WARRANTY OVERVIEW

Carvaan Musicbar comes with a 1 year Warranty on all parts, excluding accessories. This includes servicing/ repair or replacement of damaged parts. The warranty does not apply and does not cover the following:

• Liability for loss of data/content loaded in the product due to misuse or tampering.
• Damage caused due to force majeure events; events caused by fire, water, electrical disturbances etc.; events beyond the control of Saregama; acts of negligence or mishandling; usage for commercial, business, industrial, educational, or rental purposes

WARRANTY TYPE
Home service and Pick-up warranty are provided. Home service warranty requires customers to have a technician visit their home and service the product. This type of warranty can be availed by customers in locations where there is an authorized service technician available. Pick-up warranty service requires that the product along with the original invoice to be picked up from customer’s location, at sole cost and responsibility of the company. Once the Product is serviced/repaired/replaced, the company shall be responsible to deliver the product back to the customer. Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household – waste. Please follow disposal and recycling instructions issued by the concerned local authority.
