CAUTIONS:

1. Do not use the product in very hot or very cold environments.
2. Do not insert metal objects in the product (screws or coins) to avoid short circuits inside the unit.
3. The unit can play MP3/WMA file types. Do not try viewing photo or video files with this product. The screen of the unit will show the current type of file.

12. Multifunction button: sound settings, auto-on / off AF (Auto Frequency)

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION:

The PNI 8524BT is equipped with Bluetooth that allows you to pick up calls from your phone or play audio files through your vehicle’s audio system.
Turn the device on.
Press the MODE key on the remote control or on the front panel. Select BT (Bluetooth).
Search for Bluetooth devices available from your phone. Select “PNI 8524BT” to connect to your device with your phone. Once connected, the BT icon on the screen will no longer blink. BT ON will appear on the screen.
Select the music you want to listen to on your MP3 player from the phone.
Take and make a phone call:
Press the “BAND” button to take a call or the “MODE” button to complete or reject it.
Press the “MODE” button to transfer the call to the phone only.

DASHBOARD MOUNTING

1. Insert mounting case in the dashboard.
2. Bend the mounting case clips for a secure mount.
3. To remove the unit insert the two keys from the package (2) on both sides of the unit and pull them out.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

1. The unit doesn’t start
   – check the ISO connection – power cables

2. The power button doesn’t work
   – Unplug the power and plug it in again after a while

3. No sound or just noise coming from the speakers
   – check the ISO connection, speaker cables, or sound settings

4. Low-quality sound
   – check the ISO connection, speaker cables

5. Poor radio reception
   – check the radio antenna connection

SPECIFICATIONS:

WARNINGS:
Installing this player on a car should be done by qualified personnel after checking the type of power and audio connectors on the car.
Some cars are equipped with different sockets configured against ISO standards (different thread positioning).
If the vehicle is not equipped with international standard ISO connectors, the necessary modifications should be made by qualified personnel before fitting the player.
