The Broodrooster 2 Sleuven Ktostador 2 Ranuras SCTO92IX is a toaster designed for use in contact with food. Product Usage Instructions
First Use: When using the toaster for the first time, operate the appliance without inserting bread to let it heat up until any burning smell is gone.
Operating the Device:
- Make sure the device is plugged in and the outlet is on.
- Insert a slice or two of bread into the slot and press the lever until it locks.
- Set the thermostat according to the desired result.
- The appliance heats up automatically and the bread begins to toast.
- You can stop the device at any time by pressing the cancel button to remove the bread.
- If the bread is not toasted enough, you can start over by setting the thermostat to a lower position and putting the bread back in the toaster. Make sure your toast does not burn during this second cycle.
Thermostat Settings: The thermostat can be set from 1 to 7. The higher the number, the longer the bread toasts. The settings correspond to:
1 – 2: Lightly toasted
- 3 – 4: Medium toast
- 5 – 7: Very toasty
Reheat Function: If the toast has cooled too quickly, put the bread back in the toaster, set the thermostat to a low position, lower the lever, and press the reheat button. The corresponding indicator lights up. Make sure the bread does not burn. The lever automatically raises when the bread is warmed.
Defrost Function: If needed, your toaster can thaw frozen bread before toasting. Put the bread in the device, set the thermostat as desired, lower the lever, and press the defrost button. The corresponding LED lights up. Make sure the bread does not burn.
Cancel Function: Push the cancel button if you notice the smoke. When the device is working, you can press the button at any time.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- To clean the walls of the appliance, use only a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Do not let crumbs build up inside the toaster.
- To remove crumbs, take out the crumb tray with a damp cloth.
- The internal components of your device are fragile, no object should touch them.

FIRST USE OF YOUR DEVICE
When using your device for the first time, you may notice a slight burning
smell as the mechanism heats up. This is completely normal, you are in no
danger. Simply let the toaster heat up until the smell is gone.
We advise you, during this first use, to operate the appliance without inserting bread.
- Connect the device to the power outlet and turn it on if necessary
- Set the thermostat to the lowest position
- Lower the lever and let the appliance heat up
- Wait for the smell to dissipate
- Push the button “ » to raise the lever
OPERATING YOUR DEVICE

REHEAT FUNCTION
Your toaster can reheat toast that has cooled too quickly. . Put the bread back in the appliance.

- Make sure the bread does not burn.
- Lever automatically raises when bread is warmed
DEFROST FUNCTION
If needed, your toaster can thaw frozen bread before toasting.

- Lower the lever.
- Press the “DEFROST” button “. The corresponding LED lights up. . Make sure the bread are not burn.
CANCEL FUNCTION
- Push the button ” if you notice smoke.
