Preparing Laundry
Please read these operating instructions carefully to avoid damaging the washing machine or your clothing.

  1. Follow the instructions given in the care labels on the clothing.
Separate your laundry according to type (cotton, synthetic, sensitive, wool etc.), washing temperature (cold, 30°, 40°, 60°, 90°) and the degree of dirtiness (slightly stained, stained, highly stained).

  2. Never wash coloured and white laundry together.
Dark textiles may contain excess dye and should be washed separately several times.

  3. Ensure that there are no metallic materials on your laundry or in the pockets; if so, remove them.
CAUTION: Any malfunctions which occur due to foreign materials damaging your machine are not covered by the warranty.

  4. Close zips and fasten any hooks and eyes.

  5. Remove the metallic or plastic hooks of curtains or place them in a washing net or bag.

  6. Reverse textiles such as pants, knitwear, t-shirts and sweat shirts.

Check colourfastness before washing
Use a white towel to apply a small amount of liquid detergent to an unseen section of clothing. If the clothing stains the towel, it is not colourfast.
Please wash scarves and other non-colourfast clothes separately.
To maximise the effectiveness of washing, apply liquid detergent to stains on sleeves, collars and pockets and rub gently with a brush before washing.

Please take washed clothes out of the machine in a timely manner, as laundry which is left in the machine for a long time may smell and become mouldy.
It is recommended that brassieres are washed inside a pillowcase with their zips or buttons sealed to ensure that their internal steel wires do not damage the washing-machine drum.
Particularly delicate textiles (such as lace curtains and jackets) and small articles (such as short socks, handkerchiefs and ties) should be put into a string bag for washing. Heavy single items such as towels, jeans and bulky jackets may cause an imbalance in the motion of the drum.

It is recommended that two or more such items are washed together to ensure that draining occurs smoothly.
Clean any dust, soil and pet hair from clothes before washing
Ensure that babies’ skin is protected
Baby articles (clothes, towels and other fabrics) should be washed separately. Rinsing time should be increased to ensure thorough rinsing and cleaning
Do not exceed the maximum load! See the washing programme table for the maximum load for the programme you require.

Adding Detergent and Softener

  • For excessively dirty clothes, put ¼ of the detergent to be used into compartment I of the drawer and the remaining amount into compartment II.
  • Do not use the washing machine when the detergent drawer is removed. It may cause a water leak or it may not work normally.
  • If you forget to add detergent, you can drain the washing machine by running a drain only programme. Then you can add detergent and start the programme again. Detergent only reaches the drum when water flushes through the detergent drawer.
  • To prevent powder detergent staying in the drawer, dry the inside of the drawer with a cloth. Make sure the powder isn’t lumpy when you add it into the drawer.
  • If the rinse cycle isn’t removing all the detergent from your wash, use less detergent.
  • Softener should not exceed the MAX level in the compartment.
  • Wash out unused softener with a splash of water or a damp cloth after the programme has finished.
  • You can use liquid detergents in all programmes.

Dilute viscous fabric softener and fabric conditioner with water to prevent blockage of the overflow. Maximum level is 40ml.

Energy test program: ECO 40-60. Speed: the highest; other as default
Half load for 7kg: 3.5kg
Quarter load for 7kg: 2kg

  1. The highest temperature reached by the laundry in the wash cycle for at least 5 minutes.
  2. Residual moisture after the wash cycle in the water content percent and the spin speed at which this was achieved.
  3. The ECO 40-60 programme can clean normally soiled cotton laundry declared to be washable at 40 or 60, together in the same cycle. This programme is used to access the compliance with the regulation (EU) 2019/2013.

The Most efficient programmes in terms of energy consumption are generally those that perform at lower temperatures and longer duration.
Loading the household washing machine up to the capacity indicated for the respective programmes will contribute to energy and water savings.
Noise and remaining moisture content are influenced by the spinning speed: the higher the spinning speed in the spinning phase , the higher the noise and lower the remaining moisture content.
