Product Information
The EVEXUSB2 is a USB 2.0 extender over Cat5e/6 cable that is perfect for security monitoring, gaming, industrial control, professional audio-visual, smart medical, and more. It is compatible with webcams, microphones, video bars, mice, keyboards, touchscreens, and other USB 2.0 peripherals. It supports gigabit switches and is compatible with Windows, MacOS, Linux, and Android operating systems. The device has a metal housing that measures 76mm x 60mm x 21mm and weighs 123g (TX) and 128g (RX). The package includes one EVEXUSB2 (TX and RX), one 5V 1A power supply, one USB-A to USB-A cable, and one product manual.
The Evolution by Vanco EVEXUSB2 is a full-function USB 2.0 extender over a single Cat5e/6 cable, information and control can be transmitted up to 330ft/100m over Cat5e and 492ft/150m over Cat6. - To prevent electric shock, please ensure that all apparatus is properly grounded.

- If a third-party power supply is used, please ensure that the power supply specifications meet the product requirements.
Product Usage Instructions
- Connect the transmitting unit to the USB host device such as a computer or security NVR using the USB-A port.
- Connect up to four USB devices such as a mouse, keyboard, webcam, microphone, touchscreen, USB flash drive, etc. to the receiving unit using the USB-A ports.
- Connect a single Cat5e/6/6a cable from the Transmitting Unit to a gigabit switch.
- Connect a single Cat5e/6/6a cable from the gigabit switch to the Receiving unit.
- Plug the power supply into the receiver and test.
Note: It is strongly recommended to run cabling without any couplings, punch-downs, or patch panels. Using a gigabit switch to achieve longer cable runs will increase the latency of the extender set.

PANEL DESCRIPTIONS
Transmitter Panel
- USB A Port: Connect to a host device such as a computer or security NVR
- CAT6 OUT: Connect a single Cat5e/6/6a cable from the transmitting unit to the receiving unit (home-run cabling is strongly recommended without any couplings, punch-downs, or patch panels)
Receiver Panel
- RESET Button: Press to reset the USB connection

OPERATION
Connect & Operate
- Connect the transmitting unit to the USB host device such as a computer or security NVR.
- Connect up to four USB devices such as a mouse, keyboard, webcam, microphone, touchscreen, USB flash drive, or other USB peripheral to the USB A ports on the receiving unit.
- Connect a single Cat5e/6/6a cable from the transmitting unit to the receiving unit (home-run cabling is strongly recommended without any couplings, punch-downs, or patch panels).
- Plug the power supply into the receiver and test.
Cascading
Using a gigabit switch, you are able to extend the length of the extender even
further. The rated length remains where each Cat5e cable can be up to
100m/330ft and Cat6 can be up to 150m/492ft to and from the switch for a
combined maximum range of up to 300m/984ft.
- Connect the transmitting unit to the USB host device such as a computer or security NVR
- Connect up to four USB devices such as a mouse, keyboard, webcam, microphone, touchscreen, USB flash drive, etc. to the receiving unit
- Connect a single Cat5e/6/6a cable from the Transmitting Unit to a gigabit switch
- Connect a single Cat5e/6/6a cable from the gigabit switch to the Receiving unit
- Plug the power supply into the receiver and test

LIMITED WARRANTY
With the exceptions noted in the next paragraph, Vanco warrants to the original purchaser that the equipment it manufactures or sells will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase. Should this product, in Vanco’s opinion, prove defective within this warranty period, Vanco, at its option, will repair or replace this product without charge. Any defective parts replaced become the property of Vanco. This warranty does not apply to those products which have been damaged due to accident, unauthorized alterations, improper repair, modifications, inadequate maintenance and care, or use in any manner for which the product was not originally intended.
Items integrated into Vanco products that are made by other manufacturers,
notably computer hard drives and liquid crystal display panels, are limited to
the term of
the warranty offered by the respective manufacturers. Such specific warranties
are available upon request to Vanco. A surge protector, power conditioner
unit, or an uninterruptible power supply must be installed in the electrical
circuit to protect against power surges.
If repairs are needed during the warranty period the purchaser will be
required to provide a sales receipt/sales invoice or other acceptable proof of
purchase to the seller of this equipment. The seller will then contact Vanco
regarding warranty repair or replacement.
