Digital Kitchen Measuring Cup

The Digital Kitchen Measuring Cup, model EN BW1015, is a high-precision measuring device that can measure weight, volume, and temperature. It is powered by a CR2032 lithium battery and comes with a plastic tape under the battery to prevent the battery from discharging during transport. Remove this tape before use.

Usage Instructions

  1. Place the scale on a stable horizontal surface.
  2. Press the top ON button to turn it on. The display shows the internal temperature in degrees C and the weight in grams (0 g). If you want to change this to ml, pounds or ounces, press the MODE button on the bottom of the device.
  3. If you already want to measure with a component, you need to equalize and tare the scale. To do this, press the TARE button.
  4. Place the objects to be measured in the jug of the scale and the device will indicate their weight.
  5. Press the ON button to switch off the scale. The scale will also turn off automatically within 1 minute if it detects that it is not in use.
  6. You can take several measurements at the same time without removing the container. Before adding any new material, press the TARE button, after 2 seconds the display will re-tare the scale to 0 grams, and then place the object to be measured in the bowl and the scale will only show the weight of the newly weighed object.

Cleaning

Wipe the scale with a soft damp cloth. Do not use any chemicals or cleaning agents. Do not immerse the scale in water.

Battery

Dispose of the discharged battery in the appropriate containers.
Do not dispose of the battery in the household waste.

TARE FUNCTION

You can take several measurements at the same time without removing the container. Before adding any new material, press the “TARE” (2) button, after 2 seconds the display will re-tare the scale to 0 grams, and then place the object to be measured in the bowl and the scale will only show the weight of the newly weighed object. During tare, “Tare” appears in the lower corner of the display. After lifting the jug, the display will show a negative weight value.

WARNING Uncertified scale

  • Be careful not to expose the device to water or other liquids.
  • Do not use it with wet hands.
  • The scale is for household use only.
  • Do not put hot things on the scale.
  • Use only the recommended battery. Replace the battery if you see “LO” on the display.
  • If the LCD monitor does not turn on after pressing the ON button, replace the battery.
  • Insert a new battery into the socket, and check for correct polarity.
  • Close the battery cover.
  • If you do not use the device for a long time, remove the battery.
  • Keep the battery out of the reach of children. Please dispose of the discharged battery in the appropriate containers. Do not dispose of the battery in the household waste.
  • Do not weigh more than 1000 g on the scale.
