Your ingredients are heated from all sides at the same time. Most ingredients do not require the addition of a little oil.   • AUTOMATIC SWITCH OFF FUNCTION
    • As soon as you plug the power plug into the socket, a beep will sound and the entire display will appear on the display for approx. 1 second. The device then switches to standby mode. This device has an automatic switch-off. If you turn on the device using the start button and do not select a program, the device automatically switches to standby mode after 60 seconds. BEFORE FIRST USE

  • Use the hot air fryer only with the supplied accessories.

PLACE AND CONNECT THE DEVICE

  • Before operating the hot air fryer, follow the instructions below. Observe the following notes when setting up the hot air fryer:
  • Place the hot air fryer on an easily accessible, level, waterproof, heat-resistant and sufficiently stable working surface. Do not place the hot air fryer at the edge or edge of the work surface.

PREPARATION OF FOOD

Never exceed the recommended quantities in the cooking instructions in this manual. The device is not suitable for operation with an external timer or a separate remote control. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be very high during operation.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Remove all packaging material. The packaging material is not a toy for children, as children may swallow or choke on it! Store the packaging in a safe place for future use.
  2. Remove the foil from the control panel and from the device.
  3. Pull the handle to open the drawer.
  4. Remove the frying basket by lifting the handle.
  5. Thoroughly clean the frying basket with hot water, a little detergent and a non-scratching sponge. Note: These parts are also dishwasher safe.
  6. Wipe the inside and outside of the unit with a damp cloth.
  7. Place the frying basket in the device.
  8. Use the handle to slide the frying basket into the appliance until it clicks into place.
    Note: When first used, the device may develop some smoke. This is normal and not a cause for concern.
    The touch panel is operated by touching. A wet surface or wet fingers may malfunction and the device may not respond. Please note that the touch control surface is kept dry and clean. Dry your wet hands well before use.

The appliance will always switch to standby mode when cooking is complete. The on /off switch lights up. To switch off the device completely, please disconnect the power plug from the main power.

PREPARATION OF FOOD
Follow the instructions to prepare the food. Always make sure that the food to be prepared is always fresh and of high quality. Always ensure that meat, fish, seafood and poultry, for example, have been stored below 5°C before use. Always prepare food on clean work surfaces. Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing. Prepare food at the right size (thickness) and temperature.

  • The Airfryer has a floor sensor. The device can only be switched on when the frying basket has been pushed into the shaft. If the frying basket is not inserted, the display shows “–––-”. Please make sure to insert the basket correctly.

A FEW STEPS TO PERFECT PREPARATION

OPERATION

  1. Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet. (Fig. 3)

  2. Pull the handle to open the frying basket (Fig. 8)

  3. Put the ingredients in the frying basket (fig. 7).
    Note : Only fill the frying basket up to a maximum of 3 centimeters from the top of the frying basket and do not exceed the amount indicated in the guideline table (see chapter Preparation Guide), as this could affect the quality of the result.

  4. Push the frying basket back into the appliance using the handle.

    • Do not use the frying basket without the stainless steel frame (Fig. 5). It ensures that sufficient heat circulates under the bottom layer of the fried food (Fig. 10). The glass frying basket gets very hot.
    • ATTENTION: Do not touch the frying basket during and shortly after use as it becomes very hot. Only hold the frying basket by its handles (Fig. 6+8).
  5. Press the ON/OFF button (Fig. I) once to switch on the device. Choose one of the six automatic programs (Fig. 1-6). Use the preset time and temperature setting. The selected program flashes in the display and the preset time and temperature are shown in the display. Now confirm the selected program by pressing the ON/OFF button again (Fig. I). The program will now start.
    To adjust the automatic setting, press the button once (Fig. K) and then to increase + (Fig. J) or to decrease – (Fig. L) to set the required time. Then press the button (Fig. K) again to set the temperature with + or -. Then press the ON/OFF button (Fig. I) to start the program.
    Read the section in the Preparation Guide chapter to determine the correct cooking time and temperature.
    Tip: Press and hold the + or – button to increase/decrease to set the time or temperature faster.
    Note: If you do not set the required cooking time within one minute, the appliance will automatically switch to standby for safety reasons. Then just start over.

  6. To perform the manual adjustment, press the button (fig. M) and then the button (fig. K). Set the desired temperature. The temperature can be adjusted from 40°C to 200°C with the + / – buttons. Then press the button again (Fig. K) and use the +/- buttons to set the time from 1 minute to a maximum of 60 minutes.

  7. Press the ON/OFF button to start cooking. The display starts counting down the set cooking time. Excess fat from the food collects at the bottom of the frying basket.

  8. When the beep sounds 3 times, the preset cooking time has expired. And after the fan continues to run for 1mins, it will beep 5 times and the machine will turn off.
    CAUTION: Place the frying basket on the heat-resistant silicone mat (Fig. 9).

  9. To prevent the frying basket from falling or shifting. For your own safety and to avoid scalding, use oven mitts! After cooking, the pot must be allowed to cool naturally for 20 minutes before soaking and cleaning.
    Note: You can also stop the cooking process manually. To do this, hold down the start button until you hear a beep, the device then automatically switches to standby mode after 1 minute.

AUTOMATIC PROGRAMS

  • The display (Fig.1) shows 6 automatic programs and a defrosting program (Fig. G). To set, switch on the device with the on/off button (I). The programs are selected by pressing the menu button (Fig. A-G). The respective program lights up when selected and shows the preset time and temperature. By pressing the time and temperature setting button (fig. K) you can adjust the time as well as the temperature according to the table below by pressing the plus (fig. J) and minus (fig. L) buttons. The frying process starts by pressing the on/off button (Fig. I) again. When finished, the device will beep three times. The fan will continue to run for 1 minute to cool the heating coil and then switch to standby mode after 5 beeps.

SHAKE
Some foods need to be shaken while frying to ensure even heating. See preparation guide.

  1. Pull the frying basket (Fig.7) out of the appliance. The appliance automatically interrupts the frying process.
  2. Gently shake the food and then slide the frying basket (Fig.7) back into the appliance. The frying process will continue automatically.

TIPS
Cut food into small pieces to reduce cooking time. For better frying results, shake chopped food halfway through the cooking time. You can add some oil to fresh potatoes to make them crispier. From a temperature of 170°-180°, the acrylamide in carbohydrate and starchy foods increases dramatically. Therefore, ensure that the deep-frying temperature is not too high! Do not prepare foods that are too greasy, such as sausages. Food that can be used for cooking in an oven is also for the preparation in this device is suitable. For cakes, quiche, crumbles, casseroles, gratins or lasagne, you can use the frying basket directly as a baking dish without the stainless steel frame.

CARE AND STORAGE

Disconnect the plug from the mains. Before you clean the device, it should be sufficiently cooled after use. Do not pour the liquid until it has cooled sufficiently to avoid scalding. Never immerse the device in water as it may be damaged.

CLEANING
Clean the device after each use. Clean the bottom of the frying basket and rack of fat after each cooking session to prevent smoke. Allow the frying basket and rack to cool before removing them from the appliance. The frying basket is made of glass and the frame is made of stainless steel. Both parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher. There may be some water between the glass and the handles, this cannot be avoided due to the design and the water will evaporate by itself over time.

  1. Unplug the power cord and allow the device to cool down.

  2. Clean the surfaces of the device with a damp cloth. Note: Make sure no moisture remains on the control panel. Wipe dry the control panel with a cloth after cleaning it.

  3.  After cooking, the glass frying basket must be allowed to cool naturally for 20 minutes before soaking and cleaning.
    Clean the frying basket with hot water, a little washing-up liquid and a sponge. You can use a degreasing detergent to remove any remaining dirt. Note: The rack and frying basket are dishwasher safe. Tip: If residues in the Glue the frying basket to the bottom, fill the frying basket with hot water and some washing-up liquid and let the frying basket soak for about 10 minutes.

  4. Clean the inside of the device with hot water and a sponge.

  5. Gently clean the wire mesh in front of the heating element with a soft cleaning brush to remove any food residue.

STORAGE

  1. Unplug the power cord and allow the unit to cool.
  2. Make sure all parts are clean and dry.
  3. Store all loose accessories in the frying basket.
