NOTE:
This instruction manual is the installation directions for the shade only. The luminaire is sold separately, refer to the instruction manual included with the luminaire for installation directions.

To ensure correct function and safety, please read and follow all instructions carefully before assembly, installation, and use of this product. Please keep instructions for future reference.

Warranty

This product is covered by a 12-months warranty. The warranty is from the date of purchase, not the date of installation.
Please retain the proof of purchase for any warranty inquiries.
The warranty will be void if there is any damage due to improper usage or modification to the product.
Failure to comply with the instructions in this manual may increase the risk of damage or injury and will void the warranty.

Installation Requirements

This installation instruction is for the shade only. No electrical wiring connection or disconnection is required for the installation of the shade. The service of a licensed electrician is not required.
The luminaire (Create II Suspension Cord – sold separately) must be assembled and installed by a licensed electrician prior to installing this shade.
The Create II Finishing Kit is sold separately and is required to be installed with this shade.
Lay out all the components on a smooth surface and make sure no components are missing before assembling. If parts are missing, return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection or replacement.
Check whether the product has been damaged during transport. Do not operate/install any product which appears damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, repair, or replacement.
Ensure power to the circuit you are working on has been switched OFF before commencing any electrical work.

NOTE:
There are 2 different installation directions in this instruction manual:

1st installation method: Lamp holder exposed above the Shade – refer.
2nd installation method: Lamp holder hidden within the Shade – refer.

Lamp Holder exposed above the Shade

NOTE:
Ensure power to the luminaire (sold separately) you are working on has been switched OFF before commencing the installation.

Remove all packaging material from the product and be careful not to throw away accessories that may be hidden within the packaging material. If assembly is required, place the product on a smooth non-scratch surface.
Install lamp holder cover (A – included with the finishing kit, sold separately) by threading it over the lamp holder (B – included with the luminaire, sold separately) leaving enough of the lamp holder exposed to attach the shade (E) and lamp holder ring (C – included with the finishing kit, sold separately). NOTE: Ensure the threading within the lamp holder cover is at the bottom.
Attach the shade (E) and secure it in place by treading the lamp holder ring (C – included with the finishing kit, sold separately) and rubber ring (G-included with the shade) onto the lamp holder (B – included with the luminaire, sold separately)
NOTE: Ensure that the lamp holder ring (C – sold separately) and lamp holder cover (A – sold separately) is attached securely. Check that it has taken up at least 2-3 full threads.
Install a globe (D – not included) into the lamp holder (B – included with the luminaire, sold separately). Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating of the luminaire.
NOTE: Do not exceed the 45W maximum globe rating after the installation of this DIY product.
Check and ensure the product is fully assembled, and all parts are secure before turning on the power. Switch the power ON to test and enjoy your new lighting product.

Lamp Holder Hidden within the Shade

NOTE:
Ensure power to the luminaire (sold separately) you are working on has been switched OFF before commencing the installation.

Remove all packaging material from the product and be careful not to throw away accessories that may be hidden within the packaging material. If assembly is required, place the product on a smooth non-scratch surface
Install the lamp holder ring (C – included with the finishing kit, sold separately) and rubber ring (G-included with the shade) by threading it over the lamp holder (B – included with the luminaire, sold separately) and onto the upper threading (F- included with the luminaire, sold separately).
Attach the shade (E) and secure it in place by treading the lamp holder cover (A – included with the finishing kit, sold separately) onto the lamp holder (B – included with the luminaire, sold separately) NOTE: Ensure the threading within the lamp holder cover is at the top.
NOTE: Ensure that the lamp holder cover (A – sold separately) and lamp holder ring (C – sold separately) are attached securely. Check that it has taken up at least 2-3 full threads.
Install a globe (D – not included) into the lamp holder (B – sold separately).
NOTE: Do not exceed the 45W maximum globe rating after the installation of this DIY product.
Check and ensure the product is fully assembled, and all parts are secure before turning on the power. Switch the power ON to test and enjoy your new lighting product.

Safety Tips

Always ensure the power is OFF and the luminaire has cooled down before performing any maintenance, cleaning, changing the globe, or making any adjustments to the luminaire or product.
To avoid injury or damage to the luminaire or product, ensure that power leads and screws are secure before connecting the power.
Select a suitable location away from liquids and hazards.
To clean, wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do NOT soak or immerse the luminaire or product in water or other liquids.
Ensure that the product does not come in contact with corrosive chemicals/solvents or abrasive cleaners etc.
