SAFETY FEATURES

The SHX tower heater features two independent protection systems designed to protect the appliance and to minimise the risk of fire.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION
If there is any danger of the appliance overheating (e.g. because something is covering it or due to power supply overload), the built-in overheating protection will switch the appliance off. Once it has cooled, the appliance switches back on automatically and resumes its previous operation.

A common cause of overheating is among other things the build-up of dust or fluff inside the appliance. You are advised to clean the appliance regularly and to use a vacuum cleaner to remove such build-up.
TIP PROTECTION
There is a special button located on the underside of the appliance which always has contact with the floor as long as the appliance is positioned upright.
