Product Information

The DULUX LED T/E series includes the following models: T/E13 1x, T/E18, T/E32, T/E26, and T/E42. These models are replacements for conventional bulbs with wattage ranging from 13W to 42W. The bulbs come in different GX24q bases and HF V ratings of 830/840. They can be used with electronic ballasts (ECG) and AC mains, but not with conventional control gears (CCG).

The compatibility of the bulbs with different ballasts is listed in the Ballast Compatibility DULUX LED Gen6 2023 document, which can be found at www.ledvance.com/ecg-compatibility.

The bulbs have different ambient temperature ranges for usage and storage, which should be followed for optimal performance.

Product Usage Instructions

  • Choose the appropriate DULUX LED T/E bulb model based on the wattage of the conventional bulb being replaced.
  • Check the base type and HF V rating of the bulb to ensure compatibility with the existing ballast.
  • If using an ECG, refer to the Ballast Compatibility DULUX LED Gen6 2023 document to ensure compatibility with the bulb.
  • Follow the recommended ambient temperature ranges for usage and storage of the bulb.
  • Install the bulb in the appropriate socket, ensuring that it is securely in place.
  • Turn on the power to the socket and check that the bulb is functioning properly.

DULUX-LED-TE LED-Lamp-Osram-fig-1LEDVANCE-DULUX-LED-TE LED-Lamp-Osram-fig-2The compatibility list is based upon testing conducted by the manufacturer in a lab-simulated environment, and the results can vary in certain field applications due to a number of factors. LEDVANCE does not take over any responsibility, warranty, or liability that this results can also be achieved by using the devices under other conditions, or when using successor models of the tested devices, or different models of the same manufacturer.

In case of nonobservance of the instructions, safety risks like overheating of DULUX® LED T/E or ECG may occur in rare cases. Luminous flux will change in dependency on used ballast. This lamp is designed for general lighting service (excluding for example explosive atmospheres).

This lamp may not be suitable for use in all applications where a traditional compact fluorescent lamp has been used. The temperature range of this lamp is more restricted. Tc point and tc max temperature is located on the lamp. In case of multi-lamp luminaire application measure tc Max temperature of all installed lamps. Please use a flexible thermosensor (e.g. “Type K”) and fix it on the tc point. LED lamps operated above tc max can lead to premature aging and failure of the devices.

In cases of doubt regarding the suitability of the application the manufacturer of this lamp should be consulted.

  2. Ambient temperature.
  3. Storage temperature.
  4. Lamp to be used in dry conditions or in a luminaire that provides protection.
