Product Usage Instructions

  1. Choose a suitable location for the detector. It is recommended to install one detector on each floor of your home, especially near sleeping areas.
  2. If you are mounting the detector on the wall, use the provided screws and anchors to secure it in place. If you are using it as a free-standing device, place it on a stable surface in an upright position.
  3. Remove the battery tab to activate the device. The device will beep once and display “0” on the LCD screen.
  4. The device will automatically detect the presence of carbon monoxide gas and sound an alarm if the level reaches a dangerous level. The current CO level will be displayed on the LCD screen in Parts Per Million (PPM).
  5. To test the device, press and hold the test/silence button for 5 seconds. The device will emit a loud alarm sound and display “888” on the LCD screen. Release the button to stop the test.
  6. If the device emits an end-of-life warning sound, it is time to replace the device with a new one. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for proper disposal of the old device.
