How to Install the Battle Rope Anchor

  1. Decide on where you want to install the anchor. We suggest that you install it vertically (though, installing it horizontally would work just as well). Mark the holes with a pencil.
  2. If the wall is made of concrete, make sure to use the concrete anchors; if the wall is made of wood (drywall etc), use the wood screws instead.
  3. On concrete walls, pre-drill with an M12 (12mm) drill bit before inserting the concrete anchors. As for the wood screws, no pre-drilling is required.
  4. Make sure that the anchor is firmly attached to the wall by giving it a tug before you thread the battle ropes through. A
  5. You’re now ready to start using your battle ropes!
    Note:
For drywall, you can use a stud finder and install it on the stud since you would not want to hit any pipes nor wires inside the wall when installing the battle rope anchor.

How to Get Rid of Strand Loops:
Don’t like strands sticking out of the rope? They can be easily fixed using a pair of scissors and a lighter.
Here’s how you can get rid of them:
Note: Make sure that when you get rid of the strand loops, you are in an area with good ventilation.

  1. Cut the strand of loop that is sticking open
  2. Once the loop is open, cut both ends down.
  3. Using a lighter, heat up the portion that got cut for at least 3 seconds.
  4. Press the heated end of the strand on the rope with the bottom part of the lighter.

How to Store Your Battling Rope:
It is important to store your battling ropes properly as they can be a tripping hazard when left on the floor when not in use.
Once you are done using the battling ropes, make sure to hook them on a floor- mounted pole or coil them nicely in a storage box and take them out when you use them again.
