The Yealink phone is a wireless-capable phone that allows users to connect to Wi-Fi networks. It has a menu with basic settings that enable users to connect to available networks or add a network manually. The phone requires a password to connect to a Wi-Fi network, and users can save network information for future use. Product Usage Instructions
- Access the phone’s menu by pressing the Menu button.
- Choose Basic and then Wi-Fi.
- Select [x] Available Network[s], where x is the number of available networks.
- Choose Enter.
- Select the desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Choose Connect.
- Enter the Wi-Fi network password and choose Ok.
- If the desired network is not listed, choose Known Network[s] instead of Available Network[s].
- Choose Add to manually add a new network.
- Select the appropriate Security Mode for the network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi network name, password, and any other applicable information.
- Choose Save to save the new network settings.
Note: On Yealink T53, instead of choosing Basic and then Wi-Fi, choose Settings and then Basic Settings before selecting Wi-Fi.
ENABLING WI-FI ON YEALINK PHONES
Here’s how to connect to your Wi-Fi network on your Yealink. These instructions apply to all Yealink wireless-capable phones:
- Go to Menu > Basic > Wi-Fi
- On Yealink T53, go to Menu > Settings > Basic Settings > Wi-Fi
- Choose [x] Available Network[s], “x” being the number of available networks
- Choose to Enter
- Choose the desired Wi-Fi network
- Choose Connect
- Enter the password
- Choose Ok
Here’s how to add a Wi-Fi network manually:
- Go to Menu > Basic > Wi-FiOn Yealink T53, go to Menu > Settings > Basic Settings > Wi-Fi
- Choose Known Network[s]
- Choose AddChoose the appropriate Security Mode
- Enter the Wi-Fi network name, password and, other applicable information
- Choose Save
